Pet care experience
Pet loving mom and daughter team. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have worked in a boarding kennel and grooming facility. Able to administer medication if needed. My 15 year old daughter is super responsible and great with dogs. She’s been raised around large breed rescues and is interested in starting her own pet care business. We signed up with Rover as a team so she can get more experience and eventually venture out on her own when she gets a little older. Our rescue pup is a 7-year-old passive German Shepherd who has never met a dog he doesn't get along with. We also have a tortoiseshell kitty called Ohe who has basement access to keep her distance from dogs that intimidate her. She is also the reason we can't host kitties in our home, but we'd be more than happy to do home visits for your cat while your dog stays with us. Looking forward to meeting and helping out our neighbors!

Ashly was amazing and made us feel comfortable the entire time our dog stayed with her. Provided updates daily and was so so accommodating to our travel plans. It was like Nora was staying with a friend! We will most definitely be staying with her again. Nora loved her stay ☺️
Ashly was very accommodating with drop off and pick up times. She took great care of our dogs and provided the perfect amount of updates and pics while we were away for the weekend.

Safety always comes first in our home. We have ample space for kenneling and/or keeping dogs separated when we need to leave them home unattended but 90% of the time someone will always be here to ensure a safe & fun stay. Everyone in our home has basic dog safety and conflict resolution training and many years of experience working with all types of doggie personalities.

It's important for us to know if your dog(s) are particularly aggressive toward cats if you're booking boarding in our home. It doesn't necessarily mean we can't board them, but they may have less free range while staying with us.
A typical day
We have a large fenced yard with plenty of room to exercise throughout the day. We love long walks on the bike trail and sometimes (with your approval of course!) we venture down to the dog park.

Availability
I work from home and have ample breaks throughout the day to walk or check in on your fur babies. Daughter is a responsible freshman at Roosevelt who loves to help when school and volleyball schedule allows.
