Availability
I work most days during the week from 7am-5pm as a resident in the hospital. I will have time if needed to stop around lunch from 12-1pm as well. My weeks are generally free and I am able to provide 24 hr care.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs I can account for. I’m medically trained but not a vet, I feel comfortable administering meds however.
A typical day
I love to play and exercise with dogs! This will include long walks and/or runs on lakeshore trail or the nearest dog park! If on the weekend, and clients are okay with their dogs being in larger crowds, i’d love to take them to peppers place on Saturday mornings.

Pet care experience
I grew up with 5 loving dogs in North Carolina. When I went to college in NY I babysat my boss's dog 3x/week for 2 years via dog walking during lunch time. As I matriculated into medical school I used this app to learn Birmingham a little better and have had the pleasure of caring for over 15+ dogs and cats. I have a few regular clients as well who I still consistently babysit for. I have enjoyed the experience so much that I decided to continue the work into residency here at UAB!

Ashley is amazing! She provided extraordinary care for our dog and housesat for us over a long weekend on relatively short notice. She was proactive in sending updates and pics about how our pup was doing and was immediately responsive when we had questions. All of us - especially her new friend Griffey ?? - look forward to having her back in the future!
