Animals have always been at the heart of our lives, both personally and professionally. We took time away from Rover to pursue a shared dream of opening our own dog grooming salon, and Ashley is now both professionally certified in grooming and animal care. That hands-on experience has given us a deep understanding of pet behavior, stress signals, and how to make animals feel safe, seen, and soothed—especially those who are anxious, reactive, or need extra patience. What sets us apart is our calm, compassionate approach and ability to connect with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. We’re also Reiki certified and often incorporate energy work into our care for pets who are dealing with stress, trauma, or age-related discomfort. Our experience includes dogs from teacups to Irish wolf hounds, along with cats, reptiles, small animals and even farm animals. We’re comfortable with medication administration, basic training reinforcement, and senior pet support. Whether it’s a curious puppy or a sweet senior, we’re committed to providing personalized care that keeps your companion feeling safe, loved, and truly at home.

Ashley was great with Sufi. She boarded him for four nights for us. Regularly took him out for walks during the stay. She was kind enough to accommodate a late pick up time as per our flight. Next time I will ask her for more pictures and videos of Sufi during his stay with her.
Ashley was amazing with my yorkie!! She was very good at handling her high energy, and gave me lots of updates throughout the day. Would definitely recommend her ! Thanks so much Ashley!

Ashley was amazing! Upon meeting all worries melted right away! Extremely well versed on high energy young dogs!
Ashley took wonderful care of our dog for 3 entire weeks while we traveled for the holidays! She did a great job making sure our dog was well loved, fed, exercised, etc. She also sent us plenty of updates which we appreciated. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Schedule
We are at the salon Wednesday through Friday and Sunday’s. For smaller dogs and puppies daycare is hosted at the salon and with enough notice a grooming appointment is possible as well. For walks, drop ins, boarding, and house sitting please reach out so we’re able to accommodate accordingly.

While we don’t have a fenced-in yard, we live in the beautiful, pet-friendly village of Fairport where we enjoy taking dogs on safe, leashed walks to help them get exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation. We tailor each walk to the pet’s energy level and comfort, whether that means a leisurely stroll or a brisk walk through the canal paths and quiet neighborhoods. Safety and trust are our top priorities. We never leave pets unattended outdoors and always use secure, well-fitted collars or harnesses. Inside our home, pets are treated like family—given cozy spaces to relax, consistent routines, and lots of love and attention. We also take time to understand each animal’s needs and preferences, especially when it comes to feeding, play, and downtime. In client homes, we respect and follow your routines closely to keep pets feeling safe and secure in their familiar environment. Whether in our care or yours, we focus on creating a calm, trustworthy space where your pet can feel relaxed, understood, and truly cared for.

A typical day
A typical day with us is all about keeping your pet happy, relaxed, and feeling loved! We start with morning potty breaks and a nice walk through the quiet, pet-friendly village of Fairport. Throughout the day, there’s plenty of playtime, cuddles, enrichment activities, and downtime to rest and recharge—whatever fits your pet’s personality and needs best. We love getting to know each animal’s unique quirks and favorite things, whether it’s a game of fetch, puzzle toys, belly rubs, or just a cozy nap in a sunny spot. If your pet enjoys being brushed or pampered, we’re happy to include a little spa time too (perks of being professional groomers!). Every day is centered around safety, structure, and love—so your pet not only has fun but also feels safe, seen, and completely at home.
