I have been around dogs my entire life and have experience with many different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I genuinely love animals and have always enjoyed spending time with and caring for them. Over the years, many of my coworkers and friends have trusted me to care for their pets while they were away for a weekend or vacation. I have regularly offered to walk neighbors’ dogs, especially during the winter when it can be difficult for owners to get out (and I needed motivation to walk). I am comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, treats, overnight care, puppies, senior pets, multiple pets, and administering medication when needed. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I am happy to follow each owner’s instructions. Whether your pet needs a long walk, some playtime, extra cuddles, or simply some company, I will treat them like my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Most of the pets I have cared for love being near me, which I genuinely enjoy. I love getting my steps in by taking dogs for walks, or simply spending time outside with them while they enjoy the sunshine. I have experience with both outgoing and more skittish cats, and I understand that every pet has different comfort levels and boundaries. I would never want to force interaction or make a pet uncomfortable. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs, including making sure they have fresh water, are comfortable with the temperature, and are acting normally. If I notice that something seems off, I take it seriously and communicate with the owner. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, respected, and comfortable while they are in my care.

Ashley was super sweet and kind in person, my puppy always gets super excited when she’s around. 10/10 would continue to have her around more of my pets if I had more. My puppy looks forward to seeing you again.
Ashley is one of the few people who my fiancée and I would trust with our cat because of how caring and responsible she is. We went away for a long weekend and Ashley gladly took care of our cat. She was excellent at providing updates, sending us pictures, and making sure our cat had a good time too! We wouldn’t hesitate to have Ashley watch her again!
I have two cats at home who are not the most affectionate animals out there. It took Ashley 1 day to get their full attention and unconditional love. She is responsible, caring, attentive, and truly loves animals. I went away for a week and I was completely comfortable leaving my cats under her care. She communicated well and was very kind throughout the whole process. I would recommend Ashley as a pet caregiver 1000%. Any pet in Ashley’s care would be lucky to have her looking after them!
Ashley is absolutely amazing with my dog. He’s a little shy at first, but she was very patient with him and let him open up at his own pace. Once he opened up to her, he always gets so excited to see her. She takes him on long walks and plays with him. He can be a little behavioral at times, especially with other dogs and she is able to work with him during these times. She loves on him like she owns him and would do anything for him. Would absolutely trust her with him anytime, including overnights!
Ashley has been nothing but extraordinary when it comes to caring for pets, including my own. We’ve been friends for a very long time. When I was going away and needed a cat sitter for my at the time kitten, Junie, Ashley was more than willingly to take her into her care while I was gone. Ashley & Junie had a wonderful time together, playing, cuddling, and relaxing. All the things cats love to do. Ashley provided me with updates while I was gone, including pictures of Junie. To this day, whenever Ashley comes over, Junie remembers her and the times they’ve spent together, and she settles right in with Ashley. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for my cat.
Ashley was absolutely incredible with my dog, Karma. I asked her last minute if she could watch her for a couple of days and she was very accommodating. Karma is on a wet food diet and has to take a pill everyday with her food and Ashley was super careful in making sure Karma got her food and meds at the right time. I’ll be reaching out to her again when I need a sitter!

Schedule
I freelance remotely, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings throughout the week. On weekends, I am available all day and can be flexible around your pet’s routine and needs.

For cats, I’d love to know if they are shy or skittish, whether they typically come out to socialize during visits, their feeding schedule, and any other routines or preferences that will help me make them feel comfortable and cared for.
