I value respecting and maintaining your home space to keep your pet comfortable and happy. This means following all instructions on where your fur baby should sleep, eat, and play. Per owner discretion, I use safety gates and crates for pets who like to dart and always keep doors and windows closed and locked during drop-in visits and walks. I wash my hands thoroughly after handling every pet in my care, cleaning litter boxes or preparing food to prevent the spread of allergens and germs. In case of emergency, I also keep all of my clients' emergency contact details and vet information on hand, as well as contact information for 24-hour pet urgent care.

*READ ME BEFORE BOOKING A HOUSESIT* Currently, Rover does not have fixed guidelines for housesitting, so here’s what you can expect from me: overnight care in your home, morning walk and feeding, one mid-day check-in, and an evening walk and feeding before bed. All in all, this covers 14-16 hours of care. Your pet should be comfortable being left alone for 4-6 hours between check-ins. If you'd like extra daytime visits, we can tack on 30-minute or 1-hour drop-ins for an additional fee. If you’d prefer a sitter to stay home all day with minimal absences, that would be considered "constant care" and NOT a service I offer at this time. A typical day of house sitting: We'll start the day with a brisk walk or some outdoor playtime to let your pet stretch their legs, exercise, and do their business. After feeding and some light housekeeping, I'll let your pet dictate the day's activities based on his or her energy level and needs. With your permission, we'll take a field trip to the local dog park for a play session or go for a quick hike in the Verdugo Mountains. And if your dog is into pup cups, we'll stop there on the way home! A typical drop-in: These visits typically consist of letting your pet out to relieve themselves, a quick walk around the block, feeding, cleaning out their litter box, making sure they have fresh water, administering medication if needed, light housekeeping duties like grabbing the mail and, of course, plenty of pets and cuddles with your fur baby (if they're cool with that!).

After college, I landed my first 9-to-5 gig as a marketing coordinator for a small-time pet treat company. I had a great run in corporate pet, but eventually I got the itch to step out from behind the computer and dive into hands-on work with animals. Outside of work, you can find me volunteering at the Burbank Animal Shelter or scrambling up a mountain to catch sunset! Ashley is amazing. She cared for our cats, Siggy and Martha, like they were her own. Siggy has medication needs, and she handled that with no issues at all. We could relax completely knowing they were in such good hands. We came home to happy cats and a well cared for home. Ashley was absolutely fantastic. I hired her services for several days while vacation and she was amazing at communication, providing updates and giving me peace of mind while away. She checked in and cared for both of my cats, one who is super shy and the other who is on special medication for gestational issues. Ashley was comfortable administering the oral medication and I was sure he was in the best hands. I will absolutely be requesting Ashley again in the future and highly recommend her services.
Always grateful when Ash is available to watch our furry friends. She does her best to show them as much love as we do and has been the gold standard for dependability.
