I love bringing dogs out for extended walks/hikes, to play fetch, or even go for a swim. I require owner approval for any locations, trails, or activities that are new to their dog(s).

I'm a nurse practitioner, currently on a much needed sabbatical from working in health care! I've also been an active pet and house sitter for over 25 years. Since I'm not working a 9-5 right now, I have all the time in the world to spend with your pets as well as the flexibility to care for your pet’s unique needs. I completed a pre-veterinary curriculum at Cornell University, and many years of clinical nursing experience, so I am comfortable with animals that have medical issues. I have taken care of several pets that required daily medications, including insulin injections. Working with senior animals is also one of my specialties. I am a non-smoker, eat primarily vegetarian, and live an active lifestyle, and I am more than happy to take dogs for extended walks/hikes. I am also an introvert who likes to read and meditate, so I prefer to keep a quiet home environment without many guests. House and pet sitting has been an awesome experience for me over the years. I can provide several current and reliable references. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Asher is fantastic with our dog! He clearly has experience with senior pups and really goes the extra mile to make sure Koda is comfortable. Highly recommended!
We immediately felt comfortable upon meeting Asher (humans and dogs alike!), and are very glad we connected with him after our previously scheduled sitter had a family emergency. He sent updates about how our dogs were doing, took them on extra long walks, and left the place cleaner than it was when we left!
