I've had various pets since the day I could remember. The first dog that I could call mine was a rescue Pit Bull named Prince. Till this day, he will remain my best friend. My junior year in high school I took an Animal Science course at the local Tech Center and ended the year at the top of my class. I had my hand in equine, goat, sheep, exotic birds, dogs and cats. In 2016 I obtained my first job working with pets at Holiday Barn Pet Resort. There I learned how to read and understand dog behavior, training techniques, and grooming. I volunteered at Animal Services and Richmond Animal League, where I adopted my girl, a German Shepard-Husky mix named Tica. Before she passed, she was training to become a therapy dog. I currently work as a vet tech at an animal hospital in Long Island. I graduated 3rd in the class of 2017 at Clover Hill High School and I recently graduated from Cornell University. Earning my Bachelors of Animal Science degree with a pre-vet concentration. I plan on attending Cornell University again to obtain my Doctor in Veterinary Medicine.
