Ariel was prompt and reliable. My pups always do well with her on walks. Would book her for future walks! She is excellent.

Picked up Colonel Mustard with a large raw hotspot over her eye. Not a great experience. We've used Ariel a couple times and unfortunately this time wasn’t the best. When I picked up Col. Mustard, she had a large raw hotspot above her eye. Ariel did inform me of such and also called Rover to report the issue. Unfortunately Ariel wasn’t able to state what happened other than, when asked if her dog licked Colonel, she stated that Scar does lick a lot. The hotspot was definitely caused by being licked raw and with the location being over her eye, I could only assume Scar licked her for some time. Unfortunately it left a bad taste in my mouth because per Rover policy, they only cover above $250 and any over the counter cost needed to treat the hotspot was too be discussed and possibly covered by the sitter. Ariel chose not to help in any way. Unfortunately the hotspot is very close to Colonel’s eye and has cause me much worry of infection because it’s so close. My assumption is that the dogs were left together for a period of time and Colonel was licked raw. I would have hoped a sitter would notice a hotspot forming and take precautions. I would have also preferred for a sitter to take accountability in some manner and help with costs, especially because when speaking with Rover, they stated this is what normally occurs. It’s unfortunately we had a poor experience with Ariel but I can’t overlook an injury so close to Col. Mustard’s eye. She’s an older dog and an injury such as this has caused much stress for both dog and owner.
