I’m also fully available on weekends and have extended availability during school holidays, spring break, and summer break. I prioritize organization and time management to ensure every pet receives consistent, reliable attention and care.

At this time, I do not offer boarding in my own home because I have pets of my own and limited space. I want to ensure that every animal in my care feels comfortable and safe, and I believe being realistic about space is important for everyone’s well-being. Instead, I focus on providing high-quality care in your home through drop-in visits and overnight stays. Many pets feel more relaxed in their familiar environment, and this allows me to maintain their routine while keeping their stress levels low. My goal is always to provide attentive, dependable care where your pet feels most secure.

Knowing whether a pet is shy, high-energy, sensitive to noises, or has any triggers helps me approach them in a way that keeps them comfortable and stress-free. I also like to know about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or past injuries, as well as emergency contact information and preferred veterinarians. Clear instructions about the home, security systems, and expectations for updates are also helpful. The more I understand ahead of time, the better I can provide safe, consistent, and personalized care.

A typical visit with me is centered around keeping your pet comfortable and maintaining their normal routine. I start by checking on their overall well-being, refreshing food and water as needed, and cleaning litter boxes or pet areas. I pay close attention to behavior and energy levels to make sure everything seems normal and stress-free. Consistency is important to me, so I follow your instructions carefully to keep your pet’s day feeling familiar and structured. For fun, I tailor activities to each pet’s personality. For cats, this may include interactive wand toys, laser play, enrichment games, brushing (if they enjoy it), and calm companionship for more reserved cats. For dogs, this can include walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection. I also provide photo updates so you can see your pet happy and engaged while you’re away. My goal is to make their time with me feel safe, enriching, and enjoyable.

In addition to volunteering, I have pets of my own, so I understand firsthand the daily commitment that comes with being a pet owner. I pay close attention to routines, feeding schedules, behavior changes, and overall comfort to make sure they feel safe and secure. I also worked as a kennel technician, where I cared for animals in a structured, professional environment. In this role, I gained experience with proper handling techniques, maintaining clean and sanitary spaces, monitoring for signs of stress or illness, and ensuring each animal’s needs were met efficiently and safely. Working in that setting strengthened my ability to stay calm, organized, and attentive, even in busy environments. Animal care has always been a consistent and meaningful part of my life.
