I am currently working at the UC Davis Med Center full time so I am only available during weekends for boarding or house sitting. However, during the week I am available in the evenings for dog walking and can do drop-ins 3x a day.

I love outdoorsy activities and even when I’m at home, I enjoy laying out in my front yard, soaking up the sun! When I’m with your pet, I will indulge them in whatever their favorite activities are. Whether that is tug, fetch, walks, or even just treats and belly rubs. 😌

Hi, I’m April! I’ve loved and cared for animals my entire life and have experience with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, horses, and other ranch animals. I currently live on 3 acres in North Sacramento with my mum, her cat, her two dogs, and two horses, so animals are still a big part of my everyday life. 🐾 I recently lost my best friend, Bane, after 9 sweet years together, and while I do not currently have pets of my own, I have so much love to give. ❤️ Pet sitting is truly one of the most rewarding things I get to do, and I know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, medication, extra cuddles, or just someone calm and reliable around, I’m happy to help. I’m comfortable with most animals (apologies to the snake lovers), and I’m open to slow, supervised introductions if your dog has not been around cats before, as long as they are not aggressive toward them. 🐈 For house sitting, I’m also happy to help with small household tasks while you’re away, such as bringing in mail, watering plants, taking out trash, or anything else that keeps things running smoothly. 😌 I will always treat your home and pets with care and respect, and I’m more than happy to send frequent updates and photos so you can feel completely at ease. I’m responsible, attentive, loving, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! 🥰

April is our go-to, and once again we had a great experience with her. Some highlights: she was super flexible with dropoff and pickup times and logistics, which we were super grateful for. She also put a doggie door insert in her sliding door at her home because our dogs are used to a dog door! 😃 Thanks April!
We love April. Joey loves her and her pups. Her hours are flexible I’ll always use April everytime I need someone to watch Joey . One time I called her because I had been at work I worked a really late shift and came home my dog was alone all day from 6 AM to 7:30 PM and I had some pre-order tickets to the movies for my grandson and I didn’t feel like leaving my dog alone so I called April last minute and she came over to my house and did a drop in visit . She came and I told her she could bring her dogs to and they had a little play date for a few hours and my dog wasn’t left alone so I was super happy my dog was super happy and we got to see April again she’s super pleasant we all love her
She’s amazing! Kept us updated the entire time my dogs were having so much fun will deff be our go to as long as she is dog sitting
Very reliable! I felt at ease while I was away knowing April was checking in on my pups!
