Information April B. would like to know about your pet
*I prefer not to watch shedding dogs, as some members of our family have allergies. If your dog does shed, I would like to meet him or her first to see if it still might be a good fit. Some dogs who shed don't cause us problems, others do. I would like to know how many dogs are in your household, their ages, size, gender and compatibility with other dogs and children. Where do they like to hang out and sleep? Do they like to cuddle or be left alone? How do they act with other dogs and in a house with several older children?
A typical day
We go on walks around my neighborhood, in the Santa Clara valley. We occasionally go to the dog park in Dixie Downs.

Pet care experience
I have had dogs in my home since I can remember and have had many different pets growing up as well. Since we've been married (almost 25 years) we have owned several dogs, cats, bunnies, various rodents, snakes, lizards, hermit crabs, and fish! We have 6 kids who love animals as well, 3 of them currently living at home ages 15-20. You will feel comfortable with me as your animal sitter/walker because I have always had compassion for God's creatures, and I love animals (especially dogs)! I will care for them as if they are my own. I am a hairstylist part-time and just work down the street, so I have flexibility in my schedule to be home as often as i need to be. I have the time to spend with your animal playing, cuddling and walking them. We have a fenced-in yard, but I feel more comfortable keeping the animals indoors for the most part so I can keep an eye on them more closely. I don't ever let them outside without me, or their leash. My dog Sampson loves other dogs, and you can feel confident your dog will be in good hands with a loving family!

April helped watch my cat, Spot, and did a great job. She gave regular updates for each visit, sent lots of pictures, and made sure he was fed and had company when I was gone for my trip. When I got back he was happy and healthy. I would recommend April if you are looking for a pet sitter in the area.

Our little dog stresses out very easily around other dogs and strangers. But she was very happy and comfortable with April. We received texts from April each day giving us updates on how Baby was doing. She also included photos. April is awesome. We will definitely call on her again.
