I enjoy caring for all kinds of dogs and building positive relationships with them. I worked for a local dog walking and pet sitting business in Virginia from 2017 until 2020, doing dog walks and pet sitting in the animals' own homes. During those 3 years, I successfully completed over 4,700 individual pet care visits (mostly dog walks and some cat sitting visits as well). I also served as an on-call/ emergency manager for the pet sitting company, providing guidance and assistance to other caregivers on the job, and meeting with new clients and their pets to set up services. I started working through Rover in 2021, providing dog walking and pet sitting on O'ahu. With so many years of experience caring for all different kinds of dogs, I am prepared to handle any situation that might come up. I've professionally cared for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and a chinchilla. I adopted my own dog Dora, a beautiful basset hound mix, in 2016. She brings me joy every day. I've worked with the smallest puppies on their potty training and behavior training, and I've also provided excellent care (including medications) for senior dogs and cats. I've also cared for blind dogs, deaf dogs, dogs with mobility issues, dogs with EPI, energetic dogs, dogs who need treats every few steps to keep walking, dogs who ride in strollers part of the walk, injured dogs who need a sling to help stand up and potty, dogs who don't get along with their furry siblings, and many more. I can come to your home to provide walks and other care in your dog's most comfortable home environment. I can offer long or short walks around the neighborhood, other adventures as requested, playtime in your yard, and social time and cuddles. Each dog is different in their needs and I will cater to you and your dog's preferences. I'm physically active to be able to keep up with the most energetic dogs. I also understand that some dogs have more social and companionship needs. I've always received positive reviews from my clients and look forward to earning your trust with excellent service.
