Hi there! We’re Anne-Lise and Mike, and we simply adore animals. We provide dedicated, full-time house sitting so your pets can stay happy, relaxed, and tucked up in their own familiar routines. Because I (Anne-Lise) do this as my full-time career and Mike works from home, your pets are never just a "side project." They’ll enjoy undivided attention, plenty of structured play, and the constant companionship they deserve. Between the two of us, your furry family members will rarely, if ever, be alone! Our Expertise We’ve been lucky enough to care for a wonderful variety of personalities, including: Dogs of All Sizes: From tiny lap-warmers to giant guardian breeds—we’re confident and calm with them all! Cat Specialists: Having grown up with cats, we truly "get" them. We understand their need for space, their playful streaks, and their very specific feeding routines. Small & Farm Animals: We’re also happy to look after your chickens, tortoises, rabbits, fish, or hamsters. Why We’re a Great Fit A "Lived-In" Home: We’ll take extra care of your house, too! We’re happy to water the plants, bring in the mail, and ensure everything is kept safe and secure. Constant Company: With Mike working from home, your pets will have a friendly face nearby all day long for cuddles and reassurance. Double the Peace of Mind: We carry our own private pet-sitting insurance in addition to the Rover Guarantee, so you can truly relax while you’re away.

We provide care in a familiar environment: We prioritize maintaining the pet's routines and familiar surroundings to minimize stress. Adherence to Schedules: We follow the pet's feeding, walking, and play schedules per the owner's instructions. Home Care: Aside from pet care, we may also handle basic household tasks like watering plants or bringing in the mail, ensuring the home appears lived-in during the owner's absence. And leaving your home as it was when you left. Pet Interaction: We engage in playtime, cuddles, and companionship to provide emotional support and prevent feelings of loneliness. Security Measures: We maintain a secure environment, making sure doors and windows are locked, and precautions are in place when walking the pet outside. We will keep your dog on the lead while in our care unless it's a safe environment. Overall, our goal is to create a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for your pets and prioritize open communication with pet owners to understand their pets' unique needs and preferences, enabling us to offer the best care possible

Anne-Lise was simply amazing. We have an 8 month old rescue Portuguese puppy that we have only had for 2 months and although we were only away for 1 night, we were very anxious to leave him with new people - it was a night away that we really could not cancel. Anne-Lise came over to meet Pluto a few weeks before we went away to spend time with him to build a bond before she actually came over to stay. Whilst we were away we received regular photos, videos and updates on what Pluto was up to, it was incredibly reassuring. I cannot thank Anne-Lise enough for giving us time away from Pluto without us having to worry about him.
Anne-Lise and Mike took excellent care of our two dogs as always while we were out for the afternoon/evening! They clearly care about the animals so much and our dogs love them 😊 we are always kept well updated on how everything is going, which is really appreciated!
Anne-Lise and Mike did a wonderful job house sitting and looking after our dog, Nola, while we were away. They were both very friendly, reliable, and clearly cared for Nola as if she were their own. We especially appreciated the regular photo and video updates, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to see how happy and well cared for she was throughout our trip. We would happily recommend them and would love to have them look after Nola again in the future.
Anne-lise & Mike are the loveliest couple, who have now looked after our little dog Sadie a few times for us. Their warmth and caring nature allows us to enjoy our holiday without any concerns whatsoever. Anne-lise sends daily photos and very cute video compilations of Sadie’s day, which melts our hearts every time we watch them. We always look forward to seeing how happy and settled Sadie is in them 💕🐾 They clearly make a lot of effort to ensure Sadie has stimulation each day, as well as plenty of love and attention. We have already booked Anne-lise and Mike for next year, and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to any pet owner looking for reliable, dedicated, and considerate dog sitters. This is the second time that the wonderful Anne-Lise and Mike have looked after our dogs. They are incredibly kind and caring, and we went away confident in the knowledge that the dogs were being well looked after. Communication was great throughout and we received lots of lovely photos and videos. We could not recommend them more highly.
