Responsible and reliable animal lover

Pet care experience

NOW TAKING BOOKING FROM 1st SEPTEMBER I have owned cats and horses my whole life and have dog sit alongside my boyfriend through his Rover account. We have received 5* reviews from all owners. I have done walking, day care and boarding for long durations and have loved providing a safe and happy environment for every dog who has stayed. Having owned cats and horses my whole life I have a good attention to detail and make sure to cater to every pets specific needs. I am a patient and kind handler and a true animal lover. When I am not in Gloucester I’m home in Somerset looking after my two horses, pictured in the last slide.

Anna looked after Jack really well, provided plenty of updates and pictures for me. Would definitely use Anna again. Jack looked relaxed and very happy.

Anna was great with our anxious cockapoo. She sent lovely photos of him snuggled up next to her and she has a big garden for him to stretch his legs in. She was accomodating, organising a quick meet&greet a few days before before the day care, and we picked up a happy dog at the end of the day.

Ziggy absolutely loves his sleepovers at Anna's. I feel completely relaxed knowing Ziggy is in such safe hands. I love the little photo updates I get! X

Information Anna R. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know in as much detail as possible your dogs character and any do’s and don’ts. For example if they are nervous around new people (I will make sure not to have any visitors in my house during their stay) or if they can become aggressive around other dogs (I will make sure not to take them to busy parks at peak times) etc. I am comfortable administering medication if given clear instructions.

A typical day

I am an active person myself and so will be up early in the morning to feed and let outside for a toilet break and run around. There are several parks within walking distance from me or if the owner is happy, I enjoy taking dogs out in my car to larger parks (such as Woodchester and Dyrham) with hours of walking and exploring. I will then usually stop at a pub or cafe for a coffee for myself and a bowl of water and some snacks for the dog. If we happen to pass a Starbucks on our travels home they are treated to a Puppuccino. When we are home I keep the back door open so they are free to run around and so that toilet breaks are not restricted. We enjoy a shorter walk in the evening (around 30 - 40 mins) and I shut the back door late when I go to bed so they have as much time in the day as possible to be outside. When looking after confident and sociable dogs I take them with me to meet up with friends at parks / pubs or take them for walks around my university campus where they enjoy endless fuss and cuddles from my friends. Obviously this is not an option when looking after nervous or antisocial dogs. I do my best to accommodate for every dogs specific needs.
