I am a full-time graduate student, but I have an organized schedule that allows me to see and walk dogs throughout the day. I am a big morning person, so early morning walks are no problem!

A typical day
I truly enjoy walking, jogging, and playing with dogs of all ages and sizes. Any toys/balls provided will be used! Exercise and mental stimulation are key to keeping a happy, healthy dog. For senior dogs and puppies, I am patient during walks and am happy to take petting breaks!

Hi! My name is Anna, I'm a graduate student at UNC Chapel Hill. I've been a foster family for 5 dogs, ranging from 20lbs to 90lbs, and in the 5 month-8 year age range. I am patient, knowledgable about dog behavior, rehabilitating rescue dogs, and I absolutely love just being with animals of all kinds. I've previously volunteered at animal shelters and adoption events, where I handled rescue dogs and kept them content for long periods of time outdoors. I also was a previous collegiate athlete, so energetic/active dogs are welcome! Growing up, I had multiple hamsters, a rabbit, birds, fish, and a snake, so if need be I can care for a wide variety of pets!

Anna is very communicative, great with the dogs, and is a lovely person! Both of my dogs were very happy to see her.
Anna was great with Oakley Butter! She sent me pictures and provided a great update. I could tell Oakley really liked her!
Anna has taken excellent care of my three dogs Burt Bailey and Roy whenever I leave for travelling for years now. She has lots of experience working with the rescue shelters and even fostered a few dogs that turned out just lovely. She was always on time, always polite, always knew how to handle Roy's troublemaking, and even my crusty old grump Burt loves her. I think the dogs like her more than me sometimes so I get a little jealous. My knee clicks sometimes so I can't run like I used to with my dogs, but Anna can and they love it. I started asking her to come every now or so to give them a long romp and run when the pressure started changing and making my knee do that thing again so I couldn't. I'm so sad she moved away because I can't find anyone near as good. She's just all lovely and you'll love her too. Thank you Anna!
