Caring for animals has always come naturally to me. From a young age, I was the one looking after our family pets, and that love only grew over time. In 2020, I welcomed my own dog, Hoss. He quickly became my best friend and a true part of my family. Because of that bond, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care, and I treat every dog and cat I watch with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. Hoss now has a younger brother, Dooley, an English Springer Spaniel with a sweet and easygoing personality. Together, they help create a calm, welcoming environment for visiting pets. They love to play when another dog is interested, but they are also very respectful of dogs who prefer space, rest, or a quieter visit. My husband and I own a house in West Ashley with a doggy door that leads to a big fenced in backyard that allows the dogs to romp around. Both the greenway and a park nearby are within walking distance for our walks around the neighborhood. One of the things that sets me apart is the range of care I can provide. I have hands-on experience with puppies, including the patience and consistency needed during teething, house-training, and early routines. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medication, monitoring comfort levels, and making sure they feel safe, supported, and relaxed. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or older and in need of extra attention, I tailor my care to meet their individual needs. My husband and I also foster for local rescues, including Journey Home Alliance and Lowcountry Lab Rescue. Through fostering, we have worked with dogs who have separation anxiety and need extra reassurance, structure, and patience to come out of their shell. Helping those dogs feel secure and comfortable in a temporary home has been one of the most meaningful parts of my experience, and it has strengthened my ability to care for pets with different personalities, backgrounds, and emotional needs. Our home is a friendly and flexible space for pets of different temperaments. Both Hoss and Dooley are dog-friendly and know how to read another dog’s energy—if a guest wants to play, they are happy to join in, and if a guest prefers to relax, they are equally content to give them space. They are also cat friendly, so we are comfortable caring for households with feline family members as well. Our goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and at home while their owners are away!

Our two older boys came with us to Charleston for a family vacation. Our accommodations were not pet friendly but I wanted them to be nearby as they can be anxious when alone for extended periods. Anna and her husband were great and kept us updated on our boys all week. I could tell they felt right at home. She made sure they had what they needed and her home was great for my boys and similar to what they were used to at home. She sent me frequent updates and photos throughout the week. We appreciate her loving them like her own and will definitely use her services again if in the area with the pups! I recommend her for any family who wants their pups to be safe and happy while they are vacationing- I had peace of mind the whole time we were away!
Anna is the absolute best!! we have a very quirky dog and she knew exactly how to handle him, exactly how to care for him and treated him like gold! She is incredibly kind, has a great spirit and super positive attitude. We loved having Anna watch Wrigley and will always be our first call when we need a sitter! I can't recommend her enough, she's amazing!!!
Anna Grace is a wonderful pet sitter. I went out of the country for 10 days and she watched my Doberman for me. She sent me pictures of my boy and all the fun he was having. She put my mind at ease knowing he was in good hands. She treated him like he was her own. I’ve used her several times after that trip and will continue to use her. My boy loves her💕
Anna is truly exceptional. We always have complete peace of mind knowing our dogs are in her care. One of our dogs, Maya, had several health conditions that required a complex medication schedule—10 pills twice a day—and I never once worried about whether she would receive the care she needed. Anna was incredibly diligent, ensuring Maya received every medication and remained as comfortable as possible. Beyond her reliability and attention to detail, it’s clear how much she genuinely loves and cares for animals. Our dogs are always happy, safe, and well cared for when they’re with her. In fact, they adore her so much that one of them, Ellie, will sit by the window and sadly watch Anna leave after we’ve returned home. That kind of bond speaks volumes. I cannot recommend Anna highly enough. She is trustworthy, compassionate, and everything you could hope for in a pet sitter.

Schedule
I'm currently working from home, so I have more flexibility during the day for drop ins, walks, and boarding. I also have availability on the weekends. Between me and my husband, someone is generally almost always home.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in yard with two animal friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. They are used to having animals come and go in our house through fostering rescue animals. Animals are treated like family in our home and are allowed on furniture. I can also easily crate your dog if needed while I am away from the house.

A typical day
I love to help stimulate your dog both physically and mentally through fun games and exercise, depending on your dog's needs. We have dog puzzles and lick mats and can check out the new smells in our quiet neighborhood and explore the greenway near my house.
