Pet care experience
My family have had dogs my entire life, all of which have been such special characters! My last dog was particularly special, having had her for 15+ years. Miss having the opportunity to look after her whenever I wish! I'd regularly look after her when my parents went away. Often I'd keep her for months at my flat as we both loved each others company. I'm very active and love going for walks so if you're dog is particularly energetic, we'll just have to go for a long walk, won't we!

Our flat does not have a garden and is two floors up. It's a spacious flat however and I'd take them out for walks regularly, depending on their needs. If your dog struggles with stairs and is not too large, I can pick them up as I used to do with my old dog who was a collie spaniel cross.

As we live in a flat, with people coming and going from the building now and then, it would be helpful to know whether your dog struggles with this and barks a lot throughout the night. It may be better for them to stay with someone who lives in a quieter location where they might feel more settled.
A typical day
My typical day usually involves a bit of reading or knitting, going for walks in and around Edinburgh, pottering about the flat and ending the day with a TV show (Dogs Behaving Badly a favourite of ours)

Availability
I'm currently working part-time in the mornings only (08:00 - 11/12:00). My partner works from home so if your dog struggles being alone for more than a couple hours at a time, he will always be in to reassure them. However, most Wednesdays to Fridays I stay in Glasgow as I have college on those days. Therefore, I'm best suited to look after your pet(s) from Friday evening/Saturday morning until Tuesday evening unless during public holidays.
