I have been working with dogs as a trainer and pet care professional since 2008. I specialize in science-based dog training and have an extensive amount of experience and education working with dogs, from puppy basics and socialization to reactive or special needs dogs. My college concentration is titled "The Human-Dog Bond: Dogs as Natural Therapy." I love experiencing and adventuring in the outdoors (walking, hiking, running, swimming, biking, etc.) with my clients dogs and incorporating training during these sessions. I also place an emphasis on mental enrichment or “brain games”. Both mental and physical stimulation are priority! I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, administering medications, and have two veterinary clinics close by in case of emergency. Dogs are my main focus, I also enjoy caring for cats and other animals in the household. Each client and their dog/animal(s) is unique so I customize every pet care program accordingly and ensure that each dog/pet owner is kept up to date with pictures, videos, and an overall progress report (training, daily activities, etc.). I have a dog, Juan Rio, who is a rescue from the Navajo reservation, a short hair tabby cat named Bobby, and several freshwater fish. I have a flexible schedule with a lot of availability. Anna was WONDERFUL with our dogs! They were so well cared for and it was clear they were comfortable in her home. She did great working with them on their training commands, sending us updates and photos on how they were doing along the stay. We felt relieved they were in such good hands, and we could relax and enjoy our big bike ride for a couple of days!
Anna was such a wonderful sitter! Our pup got lots of attention, play time and even some good basics practice. We really appreciated the multiple photos and extra communication.
Anna is the sweetest gentlest person! I had no reservations about leaving my pup with her. Nice fenced yard and playmates. Excellent communication during the stay. Highly recommend!
Anna was absolutely wonderful with our Ginger. She was very comfortable and didn't hesitate one minute on the second day of day care. In fact she couldn't wait to get inside and see Anna and Juan. It was a great and comfortable situation and I wouldnt hesitate one second to hire her again. Thank you so much Anna and Juan. .
Anna was amazing! I was nervous to leave our puppies with someone I didn't know, but she made me feel so comfortable. She took great care of our puppies while we were out exploring. They went for a hike and played in her backyard. Plus, she sent photos throughout the day. We would definitely use her again.
Anna is a rockstar. She took amazing care of our pup. Anna may be expensive, but that is because she provides a unique and exceptional service. If you’re on vacation and want to leave your pup with someone that you don’t have to even think about, that will care for your dog like you would, she is well worth the money. Next time we are in Moab I would for sure use her again!
