I didn't have pets as a kid, so when my neighbors got their first dog I was at their door a week later asking if they needed someone to take him on walks. Ever since then, I have been the go-to person in my neighborhood for pet walking, sitting, and check-ins. Now I finally have pets of my own and would love to add yours to my list of furry friends! I have experience volunteering for multiple animal rescue organizations including 4Paws Rescue Team, Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation (LDACRF), and Lucky Dog Rescue. At 4Paws, I took care of cats being housed in local Petco stores; my responsibilities included cleaning out cages, refilling food and water, giving the cats playtime and attention, taking note of any medical concerns, and advertising cats to potential adopters and store patrons. At LDCRF, I spent time with adoptable dogs and took them on neighborhood walks. At Lucky Dog, I currently volunteer as a handler to oversee adoptable dogs during adoption events.
