Pet care experience
I have a PhD in Animal Behavior and I am a certified CGC Evaluator by the American Kennel Club. I have a 6 year old beagle/cattle dog mix and she loves going on walks and hikes with other dogs. I take my dog to Fort Funston or McLaren park almost every day so if your dog enjoys exercise and adventure I would be happy to bring them with us. If your dog prefers shorter, more relaxed walks, I would love to accomodate their needs. I am comfortable with any type and age of dog, giving medication, and providing love and care for your baby. I began my dog care with my childhood dog who we had for 16 years. As an adult I have provided care for my dogs, friends, roommates, and family. I have been on Rover since 2015 and have met a lot of great dogs and owners!!

I am comfortable with taking care of all types of dogs and their personalities. If you pet needs to be crated, needs meds, loves a favorite blanket, I am happy to accommodate any of your needs. I have a lot of experience with "reactive" dogs and can make your pet's time with me supportive, positive, and can work with them and accommodate their needs. I volunteer at the San Francisco SPCA so have encountered many different types of dogs. I am also a certified CGC Evaluator by the American Kennel Club and have a PhD in Animal Behavior.

I would like to know if the dog has any history of aggression, including if it has ever bitten a person, another dog or cat. I would also like to know whether the dog is house trained and if it is able to be around other dogs or people.
A typical day
I love to make stimulate dogs physically and mentally. I will use all walks as training moments, keeping your pups attention on me as much as possible. I use enrichment items with my dog and am happy to do that for yours as well. I am an active person and love walking dogs. Every day I can take your pup to either the beach or a park if they are active. I can also bring your dog on a slow meander around the neighborhood if that is more their speed.

Availability
I have one dog I care for every day and she loves going on walks with other dogs. Dog care is my priority so I have unlimited time for your pup. I take my dog on fun walks to Fort Funston, McLaren Park, or on a longer hike every day, and I can do the same for your pup. I am also happy to take your pup on shorter walks if that is what is best for them.
