Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I work remotely in the afternoons, which means I have my mornings and early afternoons fully available to dedicate to dog walking and pet care. I usually start my day early, so I can easily adapt to different schedules depending on each dog’s needs—whether that’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or spending a few hours keeping them company. Since I already have a structured routine, incorporating pet care is something I truly enjoy rather than something I have to fit in. I’m also flexible during the week and can organize my schedule in advance to ensure each pet receives the time, attention, and care they need. For longer stays or in-home care, I’m happy to adjust my routine to make sure pets feel comfortable and well looked after.

Safety, trust & environment

I always adapt my care depending on each pet’s routine, personality, and the service required, whether it’s in my home or in the owner’s home. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. I live in an apartment with a secure inner courtyard and a terrace, so they can enjoy fresh air in a safe environment. I maintain a calm and clean space, follow their usual feeding schedule, and ensure they get enough exercise, playtime, and affection. When I care for pets in their own home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding, walks, medication if needed, and any specific habits they have. I also make sure they feel accompanied, respected, and stress-free in their familiar environment. In both cases, I pay close attention to their behavior and needs, making sure they are happy, safe, and well cared for at all times. I also like to keep owners updated with messages or photos, so they feel reassured while they are away.

Pet care experience

I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been a natural part of who I am. I grew up in the countryside in Chile, where we were lucky to have four German Shepherds and one Dachshund—so I learned from a young age how to understand, respect, and care for different personalities and energy levels. Over the years, I also had the opportunity to care for Dobermans, a breed I truly love. I looked after them for three years at my family home, gaining experience with larger, more active dogs that require structure, attention, and confidence. When I became independent, I was gifted a brown Dachshund, who I have cared for since she was just 3 months old—she is my little princess. Although I don’t currently live with my dogs, they remain a very important part of my life. Friends and neighbors have also trusted me to care for their dogs, including Chihuahuas, Border Collies, Dobermans, and Dachshunds. This has given me valuable experience with a wide range of temperaments and energy levels, allowing me to adapt to each dog’s unique. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and always make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. 🐶💛

Anita took great care of my dog, mostly brought him for walks or looked after him overnight, she also kept him for a five day stretch which went very well. Anita was also very accommodating with pick up & drop off times. I would definitely recommend. Laurent

To whom it may concern, I highly recommend Anita Squella as a dog sitter. She looked after my border collie when he was around two years old, which is a stage that requires both physical exercise and mental stimulation. From day one, Anita showed strong reliability, structure and a clear understanding of high energy breeds. She maintained a consistent routine, including feeding on schedule, ensuring proper hydration and monitoring his overall wellbeing. She was very aware of his energy levels and adapted activities to keep him balanced and engaged. Anita was also extremely respectful of all my instructions and house rules, whether caring for him at home or taking him out. She handled him confidently on walks, always prioritizing safety by using a leash in appropriate areas and allowing off leash time only in secure dog parks. One of the things I valued the most was her communication. She regularly sent photos and updates, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. It is not easy to leave your dog with someone, but Anita made it feel completely stress free. She also incorporated enrichment activities like ball games and interactive play, which are essential for a breed like a border collie. He was always happy, exercised and mentally stimulated after spending time with her. Anita is dependable, communicative and truly committed to the dogs she cares for. I would absolutely trust her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and attentive dog sitter.

Hi there! I wanted to take a moment to recommend Anita Squella as a dog sitter. She has been caring for my dachshund since she was just a puppy, and honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better person to trust during that stage. Anyone who has had a dachshund puppy knows how demanding (and stubborn) they can be, but Anita handled everything with so much patience and calm energy. She quickly understood her routine, including feeding times, naps and playtime, and always made sure she was well fed, hydrated and comfortable. I really appreciated how attentive she was to small details, like changes in mood or signs of discomfort, it gave me a lot of peace of mind. Anita followed all my instructions carefully and respected house rules at all times. She took her on regular morning walks and to the park once she was old enough, always prioritizing safety while still letting her enjoy some freedom in safe dog areas. What really stood out to me was the level of care and affection she gave her. She genuinely bonded with her. She also spent time playing, doing simple enrichment activities and reinforcing basic commands, which helped a lot with her development. If you’re looking for someone reliable, patient and truly loving with pets, Anita is someone you can fully trust.
