Pet care experience

Home from Home for Your Dog

Me and my wife Zoe have been caring for dogs for over 15 years. I started looking after family dogs as a teenager and later assisted my sister with her dog-sitting business before moving to Edenbridge. I have extensive experience with dogs that are reactive or aggressive towards others, as well as those with specific medical or dietary needs. I also understand the importance of providing extra care and attention — whether that means gentle reassurance, plenty of strokes, or a good cuddle!

Our dog Mac is very anxious, but Angus proved to be the perfect person to look after him. Together with Zoe, he looked after Mac with great patience and calmness and kept us really well informed about how Mac was settling in. Can’t recommend Angus highly enough and will be returning to him with Mac soon.

I have been a Rover sitter since January 2024 and in that time Angus has been a part of caring for dogs in our home. He is very responsible and has experience with a variety of breeds, sizes and temperaments. Angus is a very caring and active person so I have no doubt that your pet with have all the love, attention and walks that they deserve!

Angus has a wonderful way with dogs since growing up with his own and more recently helping to look after my family’s border terrier regularly. She is always very happy to see him. As she is aggressive towards other dogs, my family are always trusting of Angus to find quieter walks, knowing that he can also handle her well should he bump into another dog.

Schedule

I work from home full-time, so your dog will always have company — they’re welcome to sit with me in the office while I work. To keep things running smoothly, I usually ask that weekday drop-offs and pick-ups are before 10am, between 12–2pm, or after 5pm, but I can be flexible if you need different times.

Safety, trust & environment

We have a fenced off garden with a decent sized lawn, as well as easy access to the local park, and large golf course for dogs who need longer walks.

A typical day

We're happy to adjust to any dogs usual routine, but typically I'll walk the dogs first thing in the morning before work. They'll be let out into the garden regularly when I stop for tea breaks and lunch. In the evenings, dogs that require more exercise will get a second walk, and those with even more energy might get a lunch time walk!
