“The day care your dog would pick”
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Andy! I’ve spent over a decade working in dog care — both independently and for professional dog walking, sitting, and training services. I love all animals, but over time, I’ve found a real passion and strength in caring for large-breed dogs. I’m 6’7” and a former D1 athlete — which definitely comes in handy when caring for strong pups! I’ve worked with dogs up to 225 lbs (shoutout to Gus, the gentle giant Bull Mastiff). Handling big dogs isn’t a challenge for me; it’s second nature. I offer reliable, confident care for pets of all sizes — but if you’ve got a big pup others struggle with, you’re in the right place. I offer in-home dog day care and occasional boarding, depending on your pet’s needs. Dogs in my home are treated like family: allowed on furniture (unless you’d prefer otherwise), given full backyard access, and loved just like our own.
Reviews
Andy is THE person to have watch your beloved dog. Being a dog trainer myself, I am hesitant on who to have watch our two dogs Toby & Twist when our family is unable to. Especially because i have seen first hand some of the horrors of boarding places. For this reason, Andy is ALWAYS our first choice when we need someone to watch Toby & Twist because we know our dogs are treated like family there. They’ll get plenty exercise, have relaxing days, and you won’t think twice about how good of a time they are having. I highly recommend Andy (just don’t ask him on the days we need him!!! 😉)
Looking for an energetic, millennial dog dad? Andy’s your guy. As an athletic trainer surrounded by operant learning and dog training professionals, your baby will get all of the exercise and training they need from Andy. He’s honest and reliable and treats every dog as he would his own. Myself and his neighbor/landlord work in animal rescue, and Andy’s had great experience learning the process of gently getting new pups acclimated and comfortable around people. He knows dog safety measures, can administer meds, and can give CPR. He appreciates the full spectrum of dog personalities, from lazy cuddle bug, to spicy rambunctious babies. Hire him today- he’s qualified and totally overeducated for the job, and simply doing it for the love of dogs & cats.

Pets who stay with us are treated like family. They’re welcome on furniture (unless you request otherwise) and will have regular access to the backyard. Our 50-lb rescue dog, Sheeba, loves canine company. Our 14-lb cat, Bella, keeps her distance at first but is fearless once she’s comfortable. She has high-up perches for space when needed and rarely uses her claws — even when giving a gentle warning tap. Honestly, she’d rather nap on a dog than argue with one. 🤷🏼♂️

Information Andy B. would like to know about your pet
Every dog is different, and I’m happy to accommodate special circumstances whenever possible. I have experience with: • Medication administration • Special diets and feeding routines • Behavioral quirks, anxieties, or reactivity Just let me know what your pup needs — we’ll discuss everything on a case-by-case basis to make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
A typical day
We believe fresh air and open space are the best enrichment a dog can get. With your approval, your pup may enjoy a variety of outdoor adventures during their stay with us. Some of our favorite activities include: 1. Neighborhood strolls and nature walks 2. Jeep rides with the top off (always buckled in!) 3. Backyard bonfires and BBQ hangouts 4. Off-season beach walks and shoreline sniffaris 5. Spontaneous Pine Barrens explorations 6. Playdates with other friendly outdoor-loving pups Dogs in our care spend as much time outside as the weather allows. We believe in letting them sniff, explore, and decompress — not just sit inside waiting for the day to pass. Of course, we always match activity level to your dog’s comfort and personality.
