I am a full time dog trainer who just moved to Austin from Seattle. If my schedule isn’t too crazy, I’m always looking to meet and hangout with new pups!

If you’re looking to board : I currently live in an apartment with a small fenced yard, one dog, and my wife. My complex has multiple dog runs and a large park across the street. Additionally, I am a professional dog trainer so I have an abundance of enriching toys, puzzles, and games at my disposal that you won’t find in your average household. If you’re looking for house sitting: I’m happy to accommodate you and your furry friend(s) in anyway you see fit.

I’m happy to accommodate whatever level of detail you’re comfortable sharing. That said, knowledge is power, and I tend to prefer as much detail as possible (quirks, triggers, medical conditions, reactivity etc.) when it comes to the care of your beloved pet.

I’m a firm believer in the CLEAR (Consistency, leadership, exercise, affection, and respect for the dog) living approach with dogs. I find meeting these core needs for pups leads to accelerated bonding and fulfilling relationships. That said, I’m happy to treat your dog however you see fit and I’m happy to stay consistent with any medical, training, or pampering schedules they may have.

Hi my name is Andrew N., I enjoy dogs of all shapes, sizes, colors, and snoots. I'm open to caring for and nurturing your beloved pooch in whatever way you see fit. I'm a life long animal enthusiast and I'd be thrilled to pet sit your canine companion. Furthermore, I'm very familiar and comfortable with animals that may need a little extra TLC or medical attention.

Andrew took great care of my cat Mistér. He is one of the only animal sitters I’ve used who gave my cat the necessary amount of attention he requires while I was away. He spent lots of time playing and hanging out with him to help my cat get his energy out. He took pictures during every drop in and is a great communicator. I would recommend Andrew to anyone with a furry friend.
Andrew went above and beyond what we asked for to take care of our three senior pets. We usually get nervous about leaving for trips because our pets have a variety of needs, but we felt that with Andrew they were in good hands. He was great with both our dog and our cats, and we would certainly book him again in the future. Andrew picked up on our household routines right away and looked after the particular needs of our senior pets, including administering topical and oral medications and helping our dog up the stairs. He was conscientious about following the instructions we left on the Rover site, which was important to us. Andrew did every optional task and then some, which made us feel like he had looked after our home when we were away. This is our second time booking Andrew, and we are looking forward to working with him again.

Andrew was awesome! We love that he is a dog trainer himself and knew exactly how to best handle our two pups who have different personalities and needs. He was friendly and professional. A lifesaver for us when our schedules get too busy and the pups need a friend!
