Since I was a child, dogs have always been a part of my life. But it wasn’t until I started university and moved out on my own that I took on the full responsibility of caring for a dog by myself. I adopted a Schnauzer who became my companion for 9 wonderful years. I trained her to sleep indoors and she truly became part of my little home. Four years later, a Newfoundland joined our family. She still lives in Mexico with my parents, as she is now a senior dog and needed to stay in a familiar, calm environment. These two dogs have been the most important in my life—they taught me how to truly care for and love these amazing little beings. So yes, this is my biggest experience caring for dogs—it's been a lifelong journey.
