I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life, which has allowed me to develop a deep love and understanding for them. My family had a Labrador named Laisa, who was much more than a pet; she became a therapeutic companion for a family member dealing with mental health challenges. Her presence not only supported their recovery but also brought ease and joy to our daily lives, leaving an indelible mark on us all. I have also always been available to care for friends’ pets when they go on holiday, either by welcoming them into my home or visiting their homes to ensure they are fed and well looked after. Additionally, I have a modest background in animal therapy, which has further enriched my understanding of the profound positive impact animals can have on our lives. Before I began travelling and exploring the world, I had a wonderful horse named “Mortadelo.” Together, we enjoyed therapeutic rides and created a unique bond that taught me the true meaning of human-animal connection. All these experiences have instilled in me the importance of patience, care, and unconditional love for animals—values I bring to every opportunity I have to care for a pet.
