Hi, I love caring for dogs while their owners are at work/vacation and sharing pictures of their day with their family with regular check ins. Im home 24/7 so will be able to spend time with your pets all day if they wish! I’m available for extended house sits. I love to help out and have the family relax while they are away. Communication is important to me and I don’t mind answering all the little questions. I can help with basic training, puppy raising and setting strong foundations for a happy, healthy family pet member of the household. If you’re not looking for basic training but just to make sure your dog has a great vacation while you are away that’s great too! Monitoring Canine Body language is very important to me as well as positive and force free techniques for training and husbandry. I have a 6 year old chill Shiba Inu, Pixel, but our pets can be separated with double gates if preferred, but he does get along with all properly introduced dogs. I do agility, confirmation (dog shows), nosework and trick training with Pixel. I love the challenge in building a trusting and fun relationship with a primitive breed. I am an experienced raw feeder and happy to feed any food of your choice. Please feel free to message with any questions you may have, looking forward to meeting you and your pets.

It was an absolute pleasure having Amy look after our dog Pipa in our home for a weekend. It was our first time leaving Pipa with a sitter and we were a little anxious - but Amy really put us at ease, and Pipa (who is a little nervous of new people) instantly loved her! Amy kept us updated throughout the weekend with lots of photos. Highly recommended.

Our dog Gracie had the best time with Amy! Lots of walks and playtime. We were a little worried about Gracie because we had never left her for longer than a day before but it needless worry! Amy sent lots of pictures and it was clear Gracie was very happy! I would recommend Amy in a heartbeat. Lovely surroundings, forest water etc. everything a dog would love! Thanks Amy.
Our dogs stayed here for a day while we were spending a day in Victoria, and it looks like they had the best time! Truly, I don't think they even missed us haha. They were taken on walks in a beautiful, secluded, wooded area, they played in their fenced yard, and Amy sent pictures regularly- the dogs were even comfortable enough to take naps! Will definitely consider them again if we're back on the island with the pups.
