Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Amy. I’ve had pets my entire life ranging from goldfish to horses, chickens, cats, dogs, hamsters, chinchillas, reptiles, and ducks. I’ve now started caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, all sizes and breeds. Any specific requests for them? Let me know! I allow them on my bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to. I always keep the water bowl full and pets happy and healthy. Allow me to meet y'all and lets play fetch! My 17 year old daughter is my best helper and an animal whisperer like mom. She enjoys baking our visitors homemade pup treats. Spoiled? Guilty! All dogs are separated at feeding times of 8 am and 4 pm, unless you feed more and have a slightly different schedule. I am used to serving regular dry, wet, mixtures, raw foods, and administering medications including injectables. I work remote part time so flexibility is a perk I've extended to clients. Daycare drop off and pickup hours are between 7 am and 7 pm and can also provide pickup/drop off transportation. Going away for an extended period? No problem, a generous discount is offered for your pets "staycation"! Our home is in a country setting with a large partially turfed fenced play yard. Got a dog that loves water? They’ll love our scheduled swim in our in-ground pool. All our boarders are like family, they interact and are engaged all day. No boredom here, only wagging tails.
Reviews

Amy did an amazing job watching my dog Bella. My dog has anxiety and Amy did everything she could to make Bella happy and able to enjoy her time without me. Even though I am moving further away I am still going to use Amy going forward. I know with her my dog will be happy, healthy and safe! Thank you again Amy! You are the best!

Amy took great care of Trixie during both her recent stays (and the best part was that Trixie was tired the whole day after I picked her up, which gave me time to unwind from my vacation!).

Amy was a splendid hostess for my small dog. She communicated well via text and through the Rover website. I was able to send the information for the care of my dog in advance via text. Amy sent a message during the weekend with a photo and status report on how my dog was doing. Picking up my dog and her supplies was easy. I had a great experience working with Amy and I would not hesitate to have her dog sit my dog again.

Quick to respond. Our dog was nice and tired out when we got him back after a week with Amy!

All pets are cared for equally the same as my own. Spoiled with outdoor play, treats, attention, and love. My more senior guys are offered a quiet space with a comfy bed, sometimes they'd rather stay inside than being out in the play yard. I follow their lead in what makes them most comfortable. Crates are used for those that are crate trained and prefer to be crated. My non craters are welcome to sleep in bed if that's their normal routine or they can sleep in a gated off designated doggy area on elevated beds.

Information Amy G. would like to know about your pet
I appreciate knowing upfront any quirky behaviors, personality preferences such as having a playmate to romp or having more of their own personal quiet space. Any allergies, food/treats they cannot have, any injuries past / present, ever aggressive with other dogs or people (not a deal breaker but we just need to know ahead of time and a M&G is required). Anything else we should know such as hide the socks and shoes, or lockdown the doggy palace if fireworks/thunder/loud noises are expected because Rover will break through anything and everything. Anything else that you would like to tell us!
A typical day
Some of the various activities could include anything from a quick car ride to get a morning coffee or run errands, playing fetch, hike a local park, swim in the pool, stimulation sniff matts, working on brushing up our basic manners (commands), romping in the fenced play yard with their friends, or just lounging around taking a nap.

I am home full time and all boarders become part of the family while here. It's amazing how quickly everyone adapts and falls right in line with our routine by following the lead of our own pets.
