I am home full time and all boarders become part of the family while here. It's amazing how quickly everyone adapts and falls right in line with our routine by following the lead of our own pets.

All pets are cared for equally the same as my own. Spoiled with outdoor play, treats, attention, and love. My more senior guys are offered a quiet space with a comfy bed, sometimes they'd rather stay inside than being out in the play yard. I follow their lead in what makes them most comfortable. Crates are used for those that are crate trained and prefer to be crated. My non craters are welcome to sleep in bed if that's their normal routine or they can sleep in a gated off designated doggy area on elevated beds.

Information Amy G. would like to know about your pet
I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality before their stay\! Please let me know about any quirks, favorite activities, or preferences—whether they love having playmates to romp with or would rather enjoy their own quiet space\. Please also share any allergies, dietary restrictions, medications, past or current injuries, mobility concerns, or anything else that helps me provide the best care possible\. If your dog has ever shown aggression toward other dogs or people, please let me know in advance\. This is not necessarily a deal breaker, but honesty is important for everyone’s safety, and a Meet & Greet will be required\. Don’t forget the fun stuff, too\! Does your dog steal socks, counter\-surf, open doors, escape from crates, or panic during thunderstorms or fireworks? Every little detail helps me keep your pup safe, comfortable, and happy while they’re here\. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make your dog’s stay feel like a second home\. Feel free to share anything else you’d like me to know!
A typical day
Some of the various activities could include anything from a quick car ride to get a morning coffee or run errands, playing fetch, hike a local park, swim in the pool, stimulation sniff matts, working on brushing up our basic manners (commands), romping in the fenced play yard with their friends, or just lounging around taking a nap.

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Amy, I own Doggy Doo & Playtime Too in Webster, NY, proudly caring for dogs since 2017. You can also find us on Facebook to see photos, reviews, and daily adventures from our furry guests. Caring for dogs isn’t just my job—it’s my passion and my full-time career. This means your pup isn’t spending the day alone while I’m away at work. I’m home throughout the day (with only the occasional quick errand), so your dog receives supervision, companionship, exercise, and plenty of love. I specialize in cage-free boarding, where dogs become part of the family. They spend their days playing with friends, relaxing, cuddling, and enjoying a true home environment—not sitting in a kennel for hours. If your dog is crate trained and sleeps in a kennel at home, I’m happy to continue that routine. If your preference is for your dog to remain kennel-free, I can accommodate that as well. My goal is to keep your dog’s stay as close to their normal routine as possible. Every dog is treated like one of my own. They’re welcome on the furniture (unless you prefer otherwise), always have fresh water, and receive individualized care based on their personality, energy level, and needs. I’m experienced with puppies, seniors, special-needs dogs, raw diets, medications (including injectables), and dogs requiring extra patience and attention. For safety, all dogs are separated during mealtimes. My standard feeding times are 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, but I’m happy to follow your dog’s regular schedule. Daycare hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Transportation may be available upon request. Planning an extended trip? Ask about discounted rates for longer stays. Our home is located in a peaceful country setting with a large, securely fenced play yard featuring both grass and turf. Dogs who love the water can enjoy supervised swims in our in-ground pool (weather permitting), while those who prefer to stay dry have plenty of room to run, explore, and play. My goal is simple: I want every dog to feel like they’re on their own vacation while you’re away. By the end of their stay, they’re not just guests—they’re family. I can’t wait to welcome your pup to Doggy Doo & Playtime Too for their “staycation”!

Reviews

Amy is very responsive and prompt with resonances. Assada is a happy pup when we pick her up. Highly recommend.

Amy is a great a reliable sitter for Luna when having to go out of town, extremely knowledgeable, caring and responsive. Would absolutely recommend your pets staycation here when they can’t join
Amy was great to work with for boarding my two cats for a week. She was very flexible when I had asked to bring them a day early. I would definitely recommend!

Amy was very flexible when it came to booking, and also when we hit a travel delay on the way home. Most importantly, my dog did great with her! Will book again!
