Big fenced yard in Pittsford
Our family includes novel-writing mom, sales rep dad, three kids ages 20, 18 and 14, all of whom are borderline desperate to watch your dog (really, their enthusiasm is getting out of hand), and pets Zeke the overly friendly dog, Louie the indoor/outdoor cat (who runs the house), a feline foster fail brother and sister duo (Stinky and Daisy), and a tank full of fish (who don't really care if we watch your dog or not). We've watched dogs on Rover since 2016. Our yard is big and fully fenced, our neighborhood is made for dog walking, and we're really looking forward to meeting some furry friends! * Please note, pickups five or more hours after the time the dog was initially dropped off will be charged an additional half day. Amy’s was the perfect place for my dog to stay when we went away for a long weekend. She sent photos every day and I could tell our dog was a less stressed when he got home than he’s been at other stays.
Amy and her husband Brian were very accommodating for my last minute reservation. Riley had a great time! Pictures were sent daily and messages were answered promptly! Highly recommend!
We left our dog Koko in the care of Amy and her family, and it was a great decision. Every day they sent us photos and videos of Koko, and he always looked very happy. They provided him exceptional attention and care. Highly recommended!

Amy works from home and teaches the occasional writing class at a local college, so there’s usually someone home to provide companionship and frequent potty breaks for doggie guests.

We have a big fenced yard for lots of outdoor play. Pets are allowed on the furniture and in beds, so prepare for lots of photos of your animal vegging out!

We give dogs lots of cuddles and walks for those who want them. Our house is very laid-back but all of us love the canine visitors!

- Please note, our dog Zeke is getting older and no longer enjoys very active playmates, like puppies and high energy dogs. We're a great place for chill, laid-back cuddlers and aloof older dogs. Please let me know if your dog has issues with food aggression, particular fears, or training issues so we can be prepared and help them be happy in our home.
