I am self-employed and work from home, so I have a lot of flexibility. Taking our dog for walks and giving her play breaks is already part of my daily routine, so your dog will fit right in!

Your dog will have access to our secure deck and fenced dog run area. He or she will sleep in the main part of the house (crate trained preferred, but not necessary if you provide a dog bed where your dog feels comfortable sleeping). We do live in the mountains, so safety is a high priority for me. Dogs will not be left in the yard unsupervised, but they will have access to our large, secure deck and dog run. We will play together regularly on the one-acre fenced property. I always supervise after-dark potty breaks for additional safety as well. If I leave the house during the day, it will generally be for 2-3 hours max. When I am home, dogs have free roam of the house.

A typical day
Dogs will spend the day inside with me and have access to all the main areas of the house. I will give them outdoor play and potty breaks frequently, plus walks (if desired and approved by you).

I am a lifelong dog owner and lover. I had four collies growing up, and have had two dogs of my own as an adult. I have a heart for dogs and feel really at ease with them. I also have experience with senior dogs and providing the extra TLC that they require. In our household, dogs are truly part of the family. My husband and I both work from home, so we are able to give pets a lot of attention. Our 11-year-old son is a natural animal lover and enjoys tossing the ball for visiting pups and our dog, Piper (5). When your dog stays with us, he or she will be treated as an important member of the pack. Our dog will happily play in the backyard with visiting dogs, and we will all go for walks around the neighborhood together - if approved by you.

As always, Amy is amazing! Communication during booking is always great and she sends lots of pictures during the stay. She also responds to communication during the stay. We love taking our pup to Amy!
Amy is the best! Our pup gets so excited to see her at drop off. It makes us feel so reassured that he is happy and in great hands while we are away! I couldn’t recommend her more.
Our girl loved staying with Amy! She had a large yard to play in, went for daily walks with her new friend and got lots of love. Our pup is very hands on, and Amy did an amazing job taking care of her. We received daily updates and pictures showing how happy and relaxed our girl was. Thank you Amy.
