Pet care experience
Hi! Growing up with a slew of animals, from horses to mice, it’s only felt natural to keep myself surrounded by critters, especially dogs! After 10 years in pet sitting I’ve experienced it all and love working with dogs of all kinds. I am committed to making your pup feel right at home no matter their needs. I have a 6 year old bull terrier named Willie Nelson who adores the companionship of other animals and is always the most welcoming to our four legged guests. We can’t wait to meet your dog! *You may notice folks referring to be as Billie in my reviews, that’s what everyone calls me, I’m unable to change my name on my profile!*
Reviews
Billie took wonderful care of my lil pup Maxwell. Billies dog Willy was such a sweetie and they got along so well. Highly recommend, I’ll be returning for boarding soon.
Billie is a wonderful and caring human who takes great care of our dogs. We are comforted to see how our dogs react when they see her coming. They light up with joy and anticipation, tails wagging accompanied by a little dance. I highly recommend Billie to all pet parents.
This was hands down our best experience and favorite dog sitter ever! Our sensitive little old man (not little at all 85pds and 12 years old) was loved and cared for like no other! It's really important to us to have a patient and loving human take their time with our senior pets and they were incredible. Great at communication and natural with all the pets! They were everything and we will be using them again!
Billie is great at helping take care of my sweet man! He has some small things that can trigger him and they always know how to handle it and keep the environment under control so that he doesn’t have to feel anxious. He loves and trusts them and I trust them with him!

All dogs need to be up to date on vaccinations and be on a flea/tick/heartworm prevention. I am comfortable crating dogs and typically keep new dogs in their own space within the home while I am out of the house, everyone’s safety and comfort is our priority. I have a small fenced yard for potty breaks but generally opt for brief walks. Dogs are welcome on all furniture unless you’d rather we enforce otherwise.

Information Amelia S. would like to know about your pet
Please share any particular needs or behaviors that are unique to your dog. Please keep in mind that if you are booking an overnight on Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays I will be at the salon and checking on your pup mid day. They will never be alone for more than 4 hours but if your dog experiences extreme separation anxiety I may not be the best fit for you. Please share your dogs activity level as well as anything they particularly enjoy, thank you!
A typical day
An average day here involves an hour or so of movement in the morning, whether that be a walk, run, some fetch, a hike, or a park visit. If permitted by owners I love to give dogs a Kong or lick mat for some mid day active rest. I prioritize mental stimulation as much as physical exercise, most meal times are centered around a puzzle or game. Evenings are centered around another physical activity so that the pups are all settled for bed!

I am a hairstylist and at the salon 4 days a week, I come home mid day for a potty break and to make sure everyone is having a good day! We live a pretty structured life style with a fun outing in the mornings and evenings. Living so close to Mt. Tabor this usually means a little park hike or a trip to the dog park. On weekends we frequent parks and make plenty of time for extra fun adventures. I take careful consideration of every dog’s needs and/or limitations to make sure they are getting everything they need!
