Hello! We’re Amelia and Victor, an Australian/Swedish fun-loving and reliable couple who would love to care for your furry family members. A little bit about us: Amelia: I am a 28 year old nurse and midwife in Australia, currently working in disability while in Canada. I have 8+ years of house/pet sitting experience. I have grown up with dogs of my own, and understand the attention needs and responsibilities that come with caring for animals. I have a passion for healthy living and exploring the world. I love outdoor activities including hiking, surfing and snowboarding as well as cozy days at home reading, yoga and cooking. Victor: I am an easy-going and responsible 31 year old carpenter who has grown up on a farm in Sweden with a range of animals including cats, horses, sheep and chickens. I enjoy spending time outdoors mountain biking, skating, surfing and snowboarding, as well as cuddling up with my cats of the couch. I am comfortable to use my handyman experience in circumstances where issues may arise in the home. We have both lived in a dog household and have had lots of experience dog sitting in Australia and Canada. We are comfortable with a range of dog types from crazy energetic boxers to small and cute sausage dogs. We have uploaded some of our reviews form our house sitting experience on our profile. We prefer to look after animals in the comfort of our home (we have a large backyard in arrow heights), however we are open to house sitting/drop in visits also. Amelia was so incredible looking after our puppy for the weekend! She sent photos and kept us updated on all the fun walks and adventures they had together! Would recommend Amelia to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker/sitter!
Amelia took our large dog Moki very last minute for a day while we visited family. Moki had a great time and didn’t want to leave at the end of the day. I got text and picture updates throughout the day. Will definitely book with her again if back in the area!
We have used Amelia a number of times for drop in visits for our two cats and she has been excellent every time! I cannot recommend highly enough.
Bandit was so calm and tired after I picked him up. He had a great time with Amelia. I recommend Amelia!!
This was our first time using Rover and leaving our two kitties at home alone. Amelia was amazing and put us at ease straight away. She was sent detailed updates, and made sure they were well looked after whilst we were away. They have been missing all of the extra attention! I would not hesitate to recommend Amelia to anyone in the Revelstoke area who needs a thoughtful and caring pet sitter!
As Amelia’s neighbor I have watched Amelia grow up to be a beautiful and caring woman. Amelia provided fantastic care to our home and dogs while we were away. She is a great animal lover and I am confident in recommending her to care for your pets.

Schedule
I am currently working as a disability support worker and have lots of flexibility in my schedule to walk your dog/s in the morning, afternoon and evening.

Your dogs safety is my top priority and I will responsibly follow any special care needs that are required for your pups. I am confident in training pups on and off leads.
A typical day
When I spend time with your dog, we’ll mix fun with enrichment. That might look like long walks to explore new scents, playtime with their favorite toys, or a good game of fetch to burn off energy. I also love adding in some gentle training games or puzzle toys to keep their minds busy. If they’re more of a cuddle bug, I’m just as happy to hang out with them for belly rubs and cozy downtime. My goal is to make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away!
