Biology Pre-vet major, Humane Society volunteer, vet shadow student, and experienced pet owner recently returned from medical volunteering abroad. *** I have grown up with a Papillon on my mom's side of the family, several dogs owned by my grandparents, and a Mini Aussie owned by my older sister. I grew to have special connections with every one of them but all in different ways. Having dogs as I grew up encouraged me to become more active because I would go on hikes and walks with them. I have also had experience in taking care of other animals such as parrots, mice, rabbits, chickens, etc.

Safety, trust & environment
I am providing services that include dog walking and pet sitting (I am willing to take care of any animal - dogs, cats, parrots, etc.) at the client's house due to not having my own house yet. Every client can provide me with detailed instructions as to how they would like me to go about taking care of their pet. I will be willing to take pets on hikes/walks or simply take them to the dog park and throw a ball around. If they just need me to hang around the house to keep them company and give them potty breaks I will be willing to do that as well.

Amber took amazing care of both our dogs and our home while we were away for the weekend. Both pups acted like we had hardly been away when we returned, a sure sign that they had been well taken care of! Amber followed our (somewhat complex) feeding instructions for the dogs and gave them lots of love and play time. Will happily hire again and highly recommend for your next Rover booking!
Amber took very good care of our senior cat and our house over the weekend. It gave us peace of mind knowing our little guy had companionship and care while we were away. If we need someone again we will definitely be checking Amber's schedule.
Our pup Enzo loved Amber, and so did we! She was incredibly professional with us (great communicator, on time) and kind and sweet with Enzo. He connected with her immediately. He loved his walks (and we loved the pictures Amber sent of Enzo on his walks) and when we came home Enzo was relaxed and tired. We were so lucky to find Amber through Rover, and if we ever vacation in Bellingham again, we'd hope that she would be available to be with Enzo again, Thank you so much!!!

Amber did a fantastic job. She made sure our nervous dog felt safe and got all the exercise that she needed. She communicated every step of the way and we were very comfortable the whole time. Would absolutely recommend her to anybody.

Schedule
As a college junior at a university, I am currently majoring in Biology Pre-Veterinary Medicine. My current goal is to gain more knowledge and experience more into my field. Being a pet sitter would benefit my future career by giving me experience and new knowledge that I am eager to learn.
