Pet care experience
I grew up around dogs, and had my own rescue dog at 16 who I trained from the start and looked after alone, she was a long fur breed (Lhasa Apso) so I spent a lot of time grooming her coat and making sure she was comfortable. My mum was a pet sitter when I was a teenager so I was used to having other people’s pets around often. I cat sit for family as a teenager, and my longest sit was a 6 month stint cat / house sitting for two beautiful cats, looking after them full time - feeding, de-fleaing, worming, and grooming!

I cant recommended Amber enough. Shes reliable, trusted, mature and friendly. Always keeping you updated for piece of mind and sending pictures regularly . I came home to two happy cats and a tidy home. I wouldnt hesisate to recommend Amber as a trusted pet sitter.
Amber looked after Tilly fir a long weekend at our house. Communication was clear and responses were quick beforehand and Amber made sure we had covered everything to make sure Tilly was ok. Tilly wss well looked after and had a great time...she's looking forward to Amber looking after her again soon!
Amber looked after my cats for six months, staying in my home while I was living elsewhere, and I would highly recommend her. She not only kept the two cats fed and watered, she also dealt with flea and worm treatments (no small feat with my big tom cat who hates having the drops!) and gave me frequent updates on their health and mood. She also gave the cats lots of love and attention and they love her back.

If your pet has separation anxiety I am happy to care for them, but would like to know a little more about why they have anxiety (previous owners or just simply that you’re home most of the time!). I have had pets with separation anxiety in the past and understand that it can be extremely hard to combat!
A typical day
Dogs - I am a big walker, so enjoy taking dogs on long walks and playing with them (if that is in their nature!). Cats - If your cat likes toys (I know some are disinterested!) then I’m more than happy to keep them mentally stimulated by playing games with their favourite toys!
