Pet care experience
Even before I became a pet owner, I would watch my friend’s pets in the city when they had to go out of town. I know from personal experience how difficult it can be to find reliable care for your fur baby. Whether you don’t want to burden your family or may not fully trust your friends, you can rest assured that I will take care of your pet as if they were my own (and mine is beyond spoiled).

Amber is the best! Timely, personable, and obviously an animal lover—you can count on her to take the best care of your fur baby while you’re away. My cat is old, shy, and can be a little bit grumpy at times, but she adores Amber! I travel a lot for work and feel so much relief knowing she’s caring for my cat. Could not recommend her more!
There’s no one else I trust to leave my dogs with. I mean not even my parents. She is a great communicator and always sends updates and pictures. She makes sure to follow their schedules and manages their quirks better than I do. When I get home they are tired and happy!

A typical day
For physical activity, I prefer taking the dogs on a walk with some hills or a park that is secured by a gate. I also prefer to go to dog parks that are separated by small and big dogs. At home, I also enjoy enrichment exercises and games to work their minds as well.

Availability
As mentioned, I have a mini dachshund of my own that is 2 years old. He was a pandemic puppy that I was able to care for and train while unemployed. I was working full time in 2022, but like many others the past months, was laid off from my job. This now has given me a flexible schedule to spend more time with my own dog and also take on jobs that bring me joy.
