I grew up with a lab, and have had my golden retriever since he was 6 weeks old. My golden experienced a lot of health issues as a small puppy, ranging from digestive to infections, so I am well aware of what to look for, and at what point a vet visit is necessary. I keep pumpkin on hand at all times for any digestive issues that arise, and also keep medicated ear cleaner on hand as my golden is prone to ear infections. I work full time from home, and as such have a very flexible schedule. I can provide regular potty breaks if needed. I can accommodate short term stays for the weekend, week long vacations, or even just day care while you are at work, or away temporarily. I have a fenced yard but also have plenty of room for your animal to run around inside to keep them out of the heat. I have a two year old Golden Retriever who loves other dogs. He is playful to start, but calms down very quickly. My dog spends most of the day sleeping, and will take all the cuddles he can get from your fur baby.
