I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, especially cats—from playful kittens to senior cats needing extra patience and care. Growing up in a cat-loving household gave me a deep understanding of feline behavior, medical needs, and how to make even the most reserved cat feel safe and comfortable. Over the years, I’ve also gained hands-on experience with dogs through both Rover clients and my own family’s pets. From daily walks to providing structured routines, I’ve learned how to tailor care to each dog’s unique personality and energy level. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and commitment to going above and beyond. I treat every pet as if they’re my own, and I believe that great care means noticing the little things—whether that’s changes in behavior, feeding preferences, or just giving them that extra belly rub or playtime they love.

Amanda did drop in visits for my cat Winston at the last minute and did a wonderful job. I felt very comfortable with her taking care of my fur baby. She gave regular updates and sent lots of photos, and I could tell she cared for him well. She even vacuumed around the litter box and living room without being asked! I definitely recommend booking with her.

A typical day
I love to explore, so I’ll make sure to take your dog on plenty of walks to new and exciting places. We’ll spend quality playtime with their favorite toys, because I believe mental and physical stimulation are key to making pets feel loved and cared for. With cats, I pay close attention to their non-verbal cues to understand their needs and preferences. I’ll make sure your cat feels comfortable and relaxed around me. I especially enjoy playing with string toys and laser pointers to help keep cats active and engaged.

Availability
I work 8am-noon "ish" every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, so am unable to watch/walk your pets during these times. With my job demands, I may need to be flexible with times in those days of I need to stay late. Other than that, my other job is very flexible and I create my own hours so I can be widely available for your pets! The more advance notice you give me, I can be able to form my schedule around your furry loved ones!
