Pet care experience
I've had pets my whole life, being able to care for a variety of dog breeds/types. During my time at Wittenberg University, I fostered and cared for a service dog in training, raising the puppy from birth to trying to complete the program. This included grooming, cooperative care, daily care, socialization, and training. I also dogsat for others in the program regularly - providing weekly and overnight care which included grooming, feeding, walking, and socialization.

Amanda is great! She always goes above and beyond when watching our furbaby Erza. Whether it is a drop-in or taking care of her for the day, Amanda always sends photos, checks in, and provides great service! She really gets to know your baby and becomes best friends with them! I highly recommend Amanda for all your sitting needs.
Amanda has always taken such great care of my baby! She’s the person I trust most with the care of my dog and understands more than anything the level of love and care we all have for our fur babies. She takes the upmost care and joy taking care of my dog, understanding more than anything the trust and responsibility it is to care for another’s pet. She truly goes above and beyond to ensure all needs are met and I couldn’t be more grateful for such consistent and thorough care!

I have a large backyard that will be getting fenced soon. We also have a friendly golden retriever who loves ALL dogs! We have a crate in our home that isn't used by our dog, so we are able to house overnight.

Please let me know what their typical schedules look like, if they have any anxiety or behavioral quirks. My dog has plenty so I am used to keeping track and being vigilant.
A typical day
I love spending as much time with pets as possible! I take my dog to the dog park almost daily to get enrichment and socialization. We take 3 long walks a day for stimulation and exercise with one of those being a sniff walk. She loves to play throughout the day with spurts for napping as well :) I'll be there for your pet through it all!

I am currently unemployed, being able to provide care for your dog 24/7. Dog care is imbedded into my routine with my Golden Retriever - so adding a new furbaby will be second nature!
