Services
Alyssa can care for
Availability
I work remotely so I can easily drop in for dog walks, kitty pets, feed your fish, or whatever other needs you need during the day. I don’t have my son every other weekend so I’m happy to house sit when I don’t have my son with me.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m extremely comfortable around all types of animals from dogs/cats to small farm animals like chickens and goats. I grew up going with my dad to train dogs in other peoples homes so I know that a dog is most comfortable in their environment if all possible. I’m comfortable with crating your dog and even helping with basic training needs (sit, come, stay). I also know the importance of exercise for both cats and dogs! It’s also important to know when it’s time for them to relax. I’m open to any questions you may have!

I love animals more than people!
Pet care experience
I’m a daughter of a dog trainer. I’ve never in my entire life lived without animals or pets in my home. I’ve had all animals from Chickens, Bunnies, all types of dogs, cats, hamsters, etc! You name it- I’ve probably had one at one point! I obviously love animals! Im a single mom trying to make some additional cash while loving on all the best fur babies! I would be honored to be selected to give your fur baby love and care when you can’t!

Alyssa did drop in visits for my two cats. She was great with them, getting my shy one out of hiding to socialize. I would definitely recommend her for future work.

I booked in-home sitting for my three dogs from October 18-20. I am highly disappointed with the care my fur babies received. Initially, I was excited to find Alyssa on the app because we live in the same neighborhood, and she reported working from home, suggesting she would have plenty of time to spend with my dogs. Despite my efforts to be patient and understanding when Alyssa continuously canceled, rescheduled, and forgot about our meet and greets, I was hopeful that she would be a good fit. During the one meet and greet we managed to have, she assured me that she would come during the day and spend several hours at my home, working from her computer while caring for my dogs. I specifically informed her about Bella's separation anxiety, emphasizing the need for consistent companionship. Unfortunately, instead of providing the in-home sitting service that I paid for, Alyssa opted for drop-in visits. She came to my house for a maximum of 30 minutes, three times a day, totaling only an hour and a half of care per day for all three dogs. This was far from adequate, and there were consequences. Harley, our golden retriever, who is crated when no one is home, was given just about 10 minutes each visit to relieve himself, stretch, and eat. Bella, who suffers from separation anxiety, was left alone for much longer than the agreed maximum of eight hours, once a day, resulting in significant distress. Due to Alyssa's failure to meet the agreed-upon care requirements, Harley was not being allocated enough time to eat, and Bella damaged several items in my room, including the wall by the door. Alyssa reported taking the dogs on "walks" multiple times a day. However, our security cameras revealed that these "walks" were merely letting the dogs out in the backyard to use the bathroom. On the last night Alyssa watched the dogs, she did not arrive to let them outside until 11:50 pm, even though they had not been outside since 3:20 pm. This resulted in Bella destroying belongings in the room, which were left scattered for me to clean up upon my return. Alyssa’s explanation for being late was that her other job required her to stay later than scheduled, which was surprising as she had only reported to me having a work-from-home job and her job with Rover. Additionally, Alyssa claimed she could administer medications to dogs, yet I found my dog's medication lying untouched on my bed. She had simply dropped it off in the room without ensuring Bella took it. Despite leaving detailed instructions on the doors of each dog’s room to assist Alyssa during my absence, she did not follow them at all. This was my first time using Rover, and it has been an awful experience. I feel scammed because I paid for a certain service and did not receive it. My pets were neglected, and I now have to pay to replace damaged items that were only damaged due to Alyssa's unavailability. I don’t understand why she agreed to provide the service if she did not have the time to actually sit the dogs in my home. If I had booked drop in visits then perhaps I would not be so upset. But I knew my dogs would need more than that as far as care went while I was out of town which is why I booked the service that would provide them with more supervision.
Alyssa is very reliable pet sitter. My dogs were extremely happy to see her. She also cared for my indoor & outdoor cats. Highly recommend
Alyssa has cared for both my high energy dogs and both my cats multiple times. She always ensures they are entertained, fed, and happy! She also has helped train our pups with treat training and has helped improve their basic manners. She does great with my high energy pups! Definitely recommend!
