Pet care experience
Hi there! I'm 23 years old and thrilled to be offering pet care services again after taking a break. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and I’m passionate about creating safe, enriching experiences for every pet in my care. My experience includes working as a Kennel Attendant at a boarding facility and caring for my own dog, Denali, who has anxiety and reactivity. This has given me hands on experience handling dogs with behavioral challenges and a strong understanding of dog body language, training, and behavior management. I use mainly positive reinforcement techniques and plan to pursue formal certification in dog training or animal behavior in the near future. I’ve been around animals all my life, dogs, cats, small pets, and even horses, thanks to my teen years spent horseback riding. I started by walking dogs for neighbors and family, and my passion has only grown since. My long term goal is to work at an animal shelter or become a certified trainer so I can dedicate my life to helping animals. Outside of pet care, I enjoy reading, gardening, hiking, photography, and spending time with my dog and family. I’m excited to meet you and your furry friend!

During walks, all pets are kept securely leashed for their safety. I’m mindful of safe temperatures and take precautions to prevent heatstroke and bloat, including avoiding overly hot conditions and adjusting activity levels as needed. I also carry a Pet Corrector (a harmless air deterrent spray that makes a loud noise) to help deter loose or potentially aggressive animals if needed, your pet’s safety is always my top priority. Fresh water and potty breaks are always available throughout the day.

A typical day
Your pup will enjoy a balanced day filled with love, attention, and activity. We’ll have plenty of cuddle time, play sessions, and opportunities to relax and recharge. Daily walks and outdoor play are a given, and if you're comfortable with it, I’d love to bring your dog along on fun outings like trail walks, hikes, or picnics! I also offer basic training using positive reinforcement. During their stay, I can work on commands like sit, stay, heel, lie down, spin, paw, and loose-leash walking—helping your dog stay mentally engaged and build good habits.

Availability
My dog, Denali, enjoys an active lifestyle and your pup is welcome to join in! We go on daily walks of at least a mile or more, exploring different trails and parks for variety and enrichment. Every other morning, we do interval jogs for 30–45 minutes, and we also go on short bike rides (1–2 miles) 2–3 times a week. I work a flexible schedule with Amazon, picking up shifts based on availability, which means I’m home and available most days and can easily adapt my routine to meet your pet’s needs.
