Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of my family’s dog and pet sat for multiple families growing up. I now have my own dog and 2 kittens. I also volunteer with Dallas Animal Services as a foster so I have plenty of experience caring for puppies and kittens, as well as administering medication. Pets can be hard work but I love them so much!! I’m available for check ins throughout the week and most weekends! I work from home and have a flexible schedule to accommodate you! I accept requests for check ins before and after my 9-5, and during my lunch break. I would love to come play with your pet, take them on a walk, etc. I take my dog on walks daily and am very familiar with the area. I also love to take pics of the pups and send them to you, I know how much I miss my pets when I’m away and pictures always help!

Alyssa communicated well and my cat made a new friend!
I contacted Alyssa on very short notice, and thankfully she was available. She came fed and spent time with our two cats while we were on vacation - we just moved and the cats were having a hard time adjusting. I'm not sure what Alyssa did, but when we got home they were fully fed and playing on the new furniture - needless to say, she made an extremely good impression and they immediately felt comfortable and safe with her. She sent pictures and was extremely communicative - I hope she has availability, because I'll use her every time we need help going forward. Thank you, Alyssa!!!
Wonderful experience! From the photos- My cats really enjoyed the visits. It helped keep me at ease during my vacation to know someone was caring for my cats. Communication was quick and very much appreciated!
My cat gets really sad when I leave and Alyssa was so patient with him and was so sweet while I was away. Definitely recommend!!

I like to know the demeanor of the dog beforehand, as well as his walking style. My dog can be a difficult walker (she likes to pull me towards alllll the smells), so I’m up for the challenge but it is nice to know in advance :)
A typical day
For walks, I would take your pup on walks around the neighborhood. I’m also happy to drive your dog to white rock dog park to let them run and play with other dogs if you’re comfortable with it! For home visits, I like to play a lot of fetch and tug of war to get as much energy out as possible!
