For as long as I can remember, dogs have been a part of my life. Whether volunteering at the Humane Society, working at a veterinary clinic, or now training dogs, I've come to realize my passion in life- animals! My family has owned dogs since I was 3 years old, and I personally have owned them for 11 years. Both of my pups are rescue dogs, who have come with their own personalities and challenges. I have a lot of experience with scared/shy animals, as well as energetic and friendly ones. I have been a volunteer at multiple humane societies and rescue organizations, and have also worked as an animal caregiver at a boarding/adoption facility. I am a certified positive reinforcement and fear-free dog trainer. I have experience giving medication (oral, topical, injections) and am comfortable working with animals of all ages, breeds, dispositions and health status. I would love the opportunity to walk or check in on your pet. I can give one on one attention, and provide any support needed.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is a top priority. I will ensure proper use of leashes and help ensure safe walking manners. I have experience with shy/fearful dogs and will work slowly to gain trust, to keep both the pet and myself safe.

Alyson was wonderful with Mugs! He warmed up to her so quick and was immediately excited any time we mentioned that she’d be coming to visit him. She’s gone above and beyond on her walks with him and giving him the love and attention that he desires!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule that allows for daily walks or check ins. My main availability is during the weekday, but evening and weekend options can be accommodated.
