Hi! We are Alma & Ananas. We have been taking care of cats and dogs for the last 21 years, and have been caring for our dog Moya for the last 9 years! We have around 10 years of experience pet sitting at home, and in clients’ homes. We both work from home, on a quiet street, close to several neighborhood parks, dog parks, and the 39th Ave Greenway and we'd love to host your furry babies here in our home while you’re traveling! Our 7lb chihuahua, Moya, is a total pack dog and her doggie housemates recently moved out. We all miss the company of other dogs to play & cuddle with, and are looking for the chance to spend some time with other playful, loving dogs without having to commit to adopting one right now. We have a fenced yard, and can offer as many potty breaks throughout the day as needed. We love to get out on plenty of sniffaris [walks] through the neighborhood, and sometimes [if your dog likes adventure] we love to get out on the trails and hike in the mountains [our dog, Moya, often ends up catching a ride down in a backpack]. And for dogs who love the dog park, we have Fuller Dog park just down the street! Walks, playtime, and cuddles are all in full supply since we work from home. We're happy to accommodate specific and unique care needs.

Alma was great with Shelby. Took her hiking and to the park and sent lots of update photos. We will definitely use her again!
Our weekend was made when we found Alma! Great communication, easy to meet up for a quick intro, and so many pictures for proof of fun during his stay - both at the dog park and snuggling on the couch. Would highly recommend! Thanks so much for a great stay for our pup!!

Alma and Ananas went above and beyond in taking care of Wasabi. He had some anxiety/tummy troubles, and Alma was proactive, communicative, and extremely patient. They took great care of Wasabi and treated him like their own. I’m so grateful!
Great with communication and making sure my pups needs were met! Took a bunch of pictures every time and I felt very comfortable having them watch Rosie.

We both work remotely from home! We’re available for boarding & longer stays throughout the week, but are also available for local drop-in visits too.

We have a fenced yard and good amount of space in the house for your pup. There’s more than enough room for a kennel if needed.

We’re lucky to live on a quiet street in a walkable area, and we love to take walks at least a couple walks a day, or head to the dog park for some fetch and social time with other neighborhood pups. We’ll play with toys inside or in the backyard depending on the weather, and when it’s not terribly cold or rainy, we’ll take them on a long walk to City Park! We’re happy to provide enrichment and stimulation for your dog depending on their unique preferences.

- Let us know if your dog is food aggressive or has any predatory behaviors since we have a 7lb chihuahua who free-feeds. We can isolate food and accommodate the special needs of your pet, but if your dog does not get along with small dogs, then we might not be a good fit. Since we work from home and we live on a street with moderate pedestrian traffic, we’d prefer to host dogs who aren’t as sensitive to bark at constant passersby, but this isn’t a dealbreaker. We have a special love for pitties in this house, and especially welcome them too!
