Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs/cats personally for the past 20 years and professionally for the past 7 years. I work from home. Friends/family/coworkers/neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and take care of their pets while they are out of town. I have my masters degree in Social Work with a certification in animal assisted social work which allows me to work with clients while being assisted with animals. I am able to take care of pets that are babies all the way up to elderly. I am originally from Iowa but lived in Denver, CO for 7 years prior to relocating to Dallas in 2023

Allison was awesome! She came to meet our dog the day before to establish contact and make sure he’d be more relaxed the day of, which we appreciate due to his separation anxiety. She updated us with pictures while she took care of him. She’s very professional and just good vibes overall! We’ll definitely be using her again!
Allie was amazing with our highly reactive and fearful pitty mix rescue and the rest of our fur crew (total 2 dogs, 2 cats). Pablo is a sweetheart with us but doesn’t do well with new people unless introduced the right way. She took the time to get to know Pablo and gain his trust and we couldn’t be more grateful! He’s not the easiest dog and has very specific behavior management needs. We were very impressed with how dedicated Allie was to learning how to properly and safely care for him. Allie is a highly capable, confident and attentive sitter with a calming presence. We’d recommend her to anyone, including those with special needs animals and reactive pups like us.
Allison did a great job house sitting and taking care of our newly fostered German Shepherd, Mabel! It was nice to have my mind at ease while I was away for the day knowing she was with Allie! Allie was very communicative and willing to do whatever to make me and Mabel comfortable :)
Allison was great and very patient with my dog! He's very timid around new people but Allison is winning him over!

Availability
I work fully remote Monday-Friday during the day. My schedule is flexible and allows me to be home all day with pets. It also allows me multiple breaks in order to take dogs for walks. I am also available on most weekends
