Pet care experience
I am a cat mom and doggo aunt, a Rover user, and a volunteer and foster for a local rescue. I often say "pets before people" which is mostly a cheeky reference to the incredible value, love, companionship, and fun that pets bring into our lives. And not just our own pets - those of friends, family, neighbors, and others, too. As a Rover user, I understand how important it is to know your fur children are well taken care of while you are away, and I want to provide that same service and relief to others.

Allison has an amazing talent for connecting with four-leggeds and an incredible degree of care. If my furbabies are in her hands, I can travel (or just work a long day) with total confidence. I swear they're sorry when I come home!
Allison has watched our pups numerous times. I can't speak highly enough about her reliability and caring nature. Often, those two things are hard to find in one person. Because we have more than one dog, they each have different personalities and needs. She is gentle and nurturing to our older dog who needs a kind touch and attention to detail when administering medication. Our other pup is a nervous guy, and we know he is in good hands because he is excited to see her every time. She is a natural, and they know it. They love her. We can leave our babies with her and not have to worry. Most highest recommendation.

A typical day
Each pet is different and I start by making sure basic needs are met followed by general pets and hellos to build and strengthen a comfortable and trusting relationship. When it comes to play, I do what the pet prefers....fetch, tug, chase, toy play, string play, rollies - you name it!
