Pet care experience
I know what it is like to worry about your pet while you are away so I treat every pet like my own and will update you with plenty of photos! I love dogs/cats and am very patient with them when they need it. I have had a dog for 9 years now and I occasionally pet sit for family/friends! I currently volunteer for Adopt Me Bluegrass and I participated in the “Check Me Out” Program several times at the Humane Society in Lexington (taking dogs out for the day to the park).

Allie recently watched our family dog while I was away on vacation and it was a great experience for both. She made the dog feel at ease while we were away with daily walks and with our permission, a couple long walks at a nearby park. Upon our return, both our little dog and Allie were sad to part ways. Allie was ready to keep her another week if we would have let her. She is great with pets (dogs and cats) in showing plenty of love and affection and if needed, a reasonable amount of discipline to ensure no bad habits are gained. I recommend her with no hesitation.

A typical day
I’ll make sure your dog is not only well cared for but also entertained! I love taking dogs on walks, whether it’s around the neighborhood or at the park. If your dog is more playful, we will play fetch or tug-of-war. If your dog is more laid back, I’m happy to just give some belly rubs and spend time with them. And of course take plenty of pictures to send photo updates!

I do work full time during the week but am available before work, for a mid-day check in, and after work as well! I also can take your dog for a walk at the park during the week after work or any time on the weekends!
