Loving Care Just Like Home
Hello, my name is Romi. My journey with animals began when I was 12 years old, when I got my first dog. With the support of my parents, I learned how to care for her, and over the years we developed a bond that shaped my entire life. She grew old by my side, giving me first-hand experience with senior pet care, and inspired me to pursue veterinary medicine. Since then, I’ve been deeply involved in animal care. I’ve volunteered for nearly 4 years, both in my home country and here in the U.S., where I’ve participated in spay and neuter events and supported the well-being of pets in my community. My veterinary studies and hands-on experience have taught me to be attentive, patient, and compassionate with animals of all ages and needs.

I have known Romi for some time and her care for animals is impecable. Romi currently volunteers for the City of Albuquerque to assist in city events regarding the care of animals. Romi has assisted in various setting such as medical procedure care of animals, doggie dates and so forth. Her care for animals is truly heartwarming, and could not think of any other person as good as her.
Calendar and availability
Schedule
Besides going to school for about four hours on two weekdays, my schedule is very flexible. I’m available most mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and I dedicate my Saturdays to volunteering for two hours in the morning. Because of this, I have plenty of time to provide consistent care, walks, playtime, and attention to pets throughout the week.

Whether I’m in your home or mine, I create a safe and loving space where pets feel comfortable. I carefully follow your instructions, feeding, medications, walks, and routines, so your pet’s day stays familiar and stress-free. I use secure leashes on walks, provide fresh water, and keep a close eye on pets at all times. You’ll also receive regular photo and text updates, so you can feel confident knowing your furry friend is safe, happy, and cared for.
Pets
A typical day
I plan to make every pet feel comfortable and cared for, always following the requests of their owners. Calmer dogs will get lots of love, cuddles, and belly rubs, while high energy dogs will enjoy fun playtime to burn off energy. I also like to use positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior, and I’m always open to any suggestions from owners to make their pets feel extra happy and at home.
