I will care for every animal as if they are my own. An owner leaving can be a very confusing time for an animal and it is important that they are shown a lot of affection and constantly reminded that they are loved! I intend to make every animal’s walk/visit a happy one and care for them as I hope someone would my own. Any animal in my care should be prepared for some good exercise as well, unless otherwise specified to take it easy due to old age and whatnot. How well you’re animal interacts with kids could be beneficial for in home care. I have 3 children between the ages of 5 and 10 that adore all animals. Knowing wether or not your animal has any special needs or specific requirements may be helpful to know in advance. Thanks!
A typical day
For dogs, playing fetch in my backyard, walks around the block or to the Dog Park if requested and they have required permits. For cats, lots of cuddles, snuggles and playing with toys.

Pet care experience
I am a 35 year old Mother of 3 beautiful children, my Husband & I rescue and rehabilitate injured animals. I personally have owned and/or fostered dogs, cats & an array of random critters my entire life! I absolutely love all animals from Reptiles & Rodents to Cats & Dogs. I currently own 3 indoor cats, 1 outdoor cat, 1 Holland Lop Bunny & 1 California Rex Bunny, I also rehabilitated a baby squirrel who still returns Home for dinner sometimes. I have volunteered at many animal shelters and rescues. I’m an experienced Surgical Recovery Technician for a non-profit rescue. I have plenty of experience managing groups of up to 20 dogs or more by myself. I have worked with many different temperaments and ages, I’m always up for a challenge and am prepared to work with animals of all breeds, ages and temperaments with no question that I will form a bond with them very quickly. Also, I might be able to work hours that I have not listed if it is discussed in advance!

Alissa loves animals and has always had them in her life. She used to work at the Spay me clinic and always takes care of my kitty when I go out of town. Shes very loving and caring to all fur babies.
