Pet care experience
Hi! I am a college student looking for work involving animal care! I grew up in a household full of pets, and have been taking care of animals practically my whole life. Currently, I have five pets, one dog and four cats, one of which actually lives with me full-time when I’m at school. I have experience caring for and working with many different types of animals including several breeds of cats and dogs in a variety of different household settings. I’ve been pet sitting and walking dogs for the past nine years, as well as having spent two summers working at doggy daycares, and have spent seven years as a volunteer at a Therapeutic Riding Program working closely with horses! I will either board your pets at my house or visit your house to feed your pets, as well as take them out for frequent walks and bathroom breaks; and of course, I’ll be sure to give them lots and lots of attention! I’m very flexible and always take owner instructions very seriously, so if there’s anything specific you’d like me to do for your pet just let me know! I’m very comfortable taking care of young or senior animals, bathing and grooming animals, administering medication, and prepping food for pets with dietary restrictions. In the past, I have pet sit for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, rats, horses, Guinea pigs, rabbits, fish and breaded dragons, as well as worked at two doggy daycares!

It would be helpful to know if your animal will need any special medication or care outside of a typical care regimen, I have no problem with this and feel completely comfortable helping, but it’s definitely nice to know ahead of time!
A typical day
I love taking the dogs out for walks and to visit nearby parks, playing games such as fetch and tug-of-war with them, and, of course, giving them lots of love and attention!
